How loud is it? For instance, we have 2 battery-powered trains, Hiro and Salty. Salty is really loud, while Hiro is much quieter. Thanks in advance!

Most of these battery operated Thomas trains are rather loud. Spencer included. The only quiet one we have is Diesel.

My son really likes these toys very much and we are collecting them. Only thing I would say about this is sellers are exploiting the demand and selling some of these engines for double price. Unfortunately Fisher Price does not sell online...

Always fun

This is one of the many Thomas and Friends in my daughter's collection. She liked it a lot as Spencer has a different look than the other engines. I didn't find the battery connection to be an issue as the other commenter did. Hopefully, that was just a one off problem and they were able to get it replaced. Spencer is fun and speedy and was a good time for my daughter.
