Bought 3 of these HDMI switches to let me easily share my three 27" computer screens between multiple laptops in various combinations. The three sockets allowed me to use one socket on each switch to connect my screens to a triple monitor Dell USB Hub, and then use the remaining two sockets to attach other video cables that I can use instead of the Dell hub to attach my laptops directly to individual screens in varying combinations. I wasn't sure whether, with all three sockets populated, the switches would automatically use whichever socket was receiving a signal. Happy to say that works perfectly. My PCs with HDMI and DisplayPort sockets work perfectly with these switches. Now connecting my Dell Hub via its single USB cable to a laptop immediately connects all three screens to that laptop. Connecting different laptops directly to the screens via the spare HDMI or DisplayPort cables I attached to sockets 2 & 3 of each switch allowed those laptops to display on one or two different screens depending on which cables I connected. This setup allows me to connect my screens to laptops in any combination. The switches work faultlessley to allow me to share my screens in any combination I want simply by plugging the right cable(s) into my laptop. Response and picture are perfect, regardless of which combination of laptops and displays I'm using. Great experience!

Works beautifully!! However, my PS4 doesn't work well with it. Please note that the Playstation 4 will have trouble with ANY splitter, not just this one! My PS4 regularly loses signal but I've noticed that the SOWTECH HDMI switch is NOT at fault. The PS4 does not supply enough power via the HDMI cable to keep the switch receiving enough of a signal, so it regularly cuts out. It appears that my Wii U and my PS3 do not have this issue however. I have switched all of their HDMI cables over, and have tried them in all 3 ports each, and the PS4 had a problem each time. Therefore, if you have a PS4 and intend to use it with a splitter like this product, it probably won't work! The PS4 must be plugged DIRECTLY into your TV!

These work pretty much as described, but not in the use case I wanted them for. Not really suitable for use with PCs and Laptops as when you switch to another input the screen is completely disconnected from the original source (equivalent to pulling the cable), meaning your windows all move around to other screens, resize, some applications (especially full screen ones) even crash. I was hoping to use these as a cheap alternative to a KVM switch box..... apparently not :(

Bought to use with amazon fire tv and now tv box, basically its very simple to use, plug it in and plug the sources into it - if you have all the inputs switched on at the same time then you need to use the switch on it to toggle between the sources but if you only have one switched on it selects that one automatically. Ideally it could do with a longer lead as it isn't long enough to be able to have it in an easy reach place to use the manual switch so I have to reach down behind the AV box and tv, but apart from that its a good little product.

This item is not auto-switching and has to be done manually using the button switch on top of the case. Apart from that the item works as a manual switch only. Another issue is that some may have is the length of cable between HDMI Port and adapter / switch. It may be left suspended when in use unless which when 3 HDMI's are attached could have an weight/pull effect on the cable. It would be prudent to fix/stick it to the reverse of the appliance away from any heat vents and within easy reach to operate. Not sure about the 4K aspect as it has not been tested. I have been in contact with supplier who weren't clear about their own description of the item in that they stated it was auto sensing and labelled it as a 'plug & forget' device which is clearly misleading:- Their description is as follows: Smart Operation - HDMI switch 4K/2K upgraded version has quick button-press-switching function Easily switches three sources to one display; HD Audio and HDCP compliant This is a high performance HDMI Switch. Recently purchased a second one for my TV in the bedroom. The device is easy to set up and plugged in SKY HD multi room and Sony blu Ray player. I'd read on other reviews that the device does not auto detect sky boxes. This is still the case. When changing HDMI output from Amazon Fire stick to the splitter it does not switch to SKY box even though the sky is already on. Nevertheless this is a fantastic product that is exceptional priced and upgrades older TVs that don't have multiple HDMI outputs. Also thanks to Amy at customer relations for helping out.

No tenía mucha fé en este switch HDMI. Tenía la sensación de que no me iba a funcionar correctamente al verlo. Me equivocaba, completamente. La verdad es que el Switch no puede ser mas sencillo, se conecta, se le conectan las fuentes, se le da corriente a través del USB y a funcionar. Pensaba que tendría problemas de input lag, al no ser un switch fisico, pero la verdad es que no lo he notado, y teniendo en cuenta que lo uso con un PC gaming, una xbox One y una PS4, el resultado no podría ser mejor. Tampoco he notado perdida de color, brillo o contraste, con lo cual, me da el resultado justo que al menos YO necesito.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per collegare le mie console ad un monitor che ha un solo ingresso hdmi. Il prodotto ha una confezione e una fattura abbastanza economica, ma nonostante questo c'è tutto: switch, cavo e manuale di istruzioni. Il dispositivo deve essere collegato ad una presa hdmi della tv/monitor, e ad una presa USB per trarre alimentazione; una volta installato, è possibile collegare fino a tre dispositivi hdmi: io ho collegato PS4, Xbox360 e un Raspberry pi2. Se la sorgente che si vuole utilizzare è l'unica accesa, lo switch selezionerà automaticamente la porta attiva (segnalata con un led verde), altrimenti è possibile cambiare l'ingresso premendo il pulsante centrale. Il risultato è ottimo: non ho notato alcun degrado nella qualità dell'immagine (per lo meno in FullHD), e l'alimentazione fornita dalla porta usb del monitor è sufficiente al corretto funzionamento (anzi, il manuale raccomanda questo tipo di collegamento); la confezione pubblicizza la compatibilità con segnali fino a 4K ma non ho avuto modo di provarlo a questa risoluzione, non possedendo dispositivi così moderni: ho provato però il fullHD 1080p con grande soddisfazione. Il manuale di istruzioni è molto stringato ma efficace, e leggendolo si scopre l'unica vera limitazione che ho riscontrato nel dispositivo: non supporta la funzione ARC (Audio Return Channel), la funzione che permette agli amplificatori Home Theatre di amplificare l'audio della tv prendendo il segnale dall'ingresso hdmi del televisore stesso: fate quindi attenzione, non è adatto ad essere collegato ad un amplificatore Home theatre se si intende utilizzare questa funzionalità. Per il resto, ottimo prodotto dall'eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo; spero che sia anche affidabile nel tempo, ma non mancherò di aggiornare la recensione in caso di problemi futuri.

El switch te deja hacer exactamente lo que te dice, pero cuando conectas un aparato como el chromecast que no lleva boton de apagado, pues lo selecciona permanentemente. no es un fallo del producto, pero creo importante que lo sepan quienes como yo lo compramos para conectar un chromecast. El producto es exactamente igual que el de la foto y soporta resoluciones de 1080P (no se si mayores, ya que no tengo ni emisor ni receptor 4k) La calidad del producto parece buena, da la impresión que el cacharro está bien hecho.

Avevo ordinato un altro Switch prima di questo, di cui ho fatto il reso in quanto, collegato alla PS4 Slim, era troppo poco alimentato e non visualizzava le immagini (di fatto non funzionava proprio). Ero costretto ad accendere un altro dispositivo collegato ad un altro slot HDMI per raggiungere la giusta alimentazione. Problema completamente svanito grazie a questo prodotto a cui ho collegato 3 console: Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 4 Slim. Il cavo USB è direttamente collegato al TV e tutto è alimentato alla perfezione. Lo switch cambia automaticamente fonte a seconda del segnale che riceve. Non ho notato alcuna perdita di qualità. Consigliato.

I limiti di questo Switch sono due, superati questi funziona perfettamente, commutando benissimo in automatico e in manuale: 1) viene fornito con un cavo HDMI molto corto sull'uscita dietro, dovendolo sostituire con uno più lungo ho faticato a trovarne uno con lo spessore della gomma del connettore sufficientemente sottile da poter entrare nell'esiguo spazio a disposizione, la maggior parte dei cavi non entrano. 2) la visione di una unità wd tv live media player con alcuni cavi HDMI (come input) risultava con dei puntini a video, con altri non era possibile in quanto il video si vedeva lampeggiante, per fortuna ho trovato un cavo (quello più grosso) funzionante alla perfezione, con il 2' input (Xbox 360) o con il 3' testato da uscita del PC funzionavano bene tutti i cavi.
