LEGO Marvel Avengers (Xbox One)

Great product at a good price and speedy delivery

Easy to understand game for my boy

I'm a huge fan of the Lego games and this has been our first purchase for our xBox One. It's based on most of the recent Avengers movies (up to Age of Ultron) and, if you're a fan of the movies you'll love being able to recognise the various scenes from so many of the movies, alongside their featured characters. The game seems bigger than any of the previous Lego games we've played and gameplay can be extended by purchasing a season pass of downloadable content. It plays really well on xBox One and we haven't seen any of the glitches which have been a feature of previous Lego games. As always there's a ton of side missions in addition to the main game which will allow you to unlock additional content, characters and vehicles. There's enough in the game to keep you playing for some time, especially if you have to complete it fully like I do. Highly recommended.

Compared to the absolutely seminal Lego Marvel Superheroes, this is something of a letdown - but it's still a great game, with a lot to do. Manhattan is here again in all its glory, and remains by far the best and most engaging part of the game. However, with the loss of the X-Men, and (to my great, great sadness) the Fantastic Four, the X-Mansion and the Baxter Building are both gone - the former replaced by the new Avengers HQ, as seen in Age Of Ultron. Deadpool is also gone, along with any other Fox-owned properties (such as Galactus, or the Silver Surfer). Another negative is that the original story of the first game is now replaced with scene-by-scene retreads of the various movies - all using the dialog from the films. Because of the ambient sound, this can sometimes be a bit difficult to hear; also, the stories are strangely incongruous with the world of Lego, and overall it doesn't work as well as the original story from the previous game. On the plus side, there have been some well-judged tweaks - for example the flying mechanic is much improved. In short, if you loved the previous game you're going to like and enjoy this - but if you're only going to get one, get the first game.

Must buy for Marvel fans of any age! Keeps you entertained for hours and so much fun, lots to do and still have the game to this day.

Bought marvel avengers for my sons 11th birthday to go with his first Xbox one. It seems I chose well, he's happy with the game and although he's only owned this for a few days hasn't lost interest in it as of yet.

My son is excite to have this game. He plays with it all the time and he loves it. Good choice for a kid. My son is 6 years old and he really loves it.
