Works great
Works as it should. I recommend watching some youtube videos of people setting it up, as the instructions are a little wonky.

Loco has sounds?
This pulls all sounds out of engines, and is very good at controlling your engines. Yeah, keep 'em rolling!

A great starter for the DCC beginner
Bachmann has developed a great tool for the First Time DCC user as this control introduces the beginner on Digital Command Control with push-button action and easy programming. The problems with this as with all Bachmann controls is that the slightest drop and the control is bad. Also there is limitations as to how large of a layout this will work on but to begin with a DCC control this is the way to start.

So far, so good
I run a small in scale layout that doesn’t have much traffic on it, with several teams of locomotives and 9 options I can actually run quite a few locomotives and trains. I would say this is definitely never for large, heavy traffic layouts, but if your just wanting to have some freedom for running some trains, this is the perfect device.

Do Not Waste Your Money With This Controller Going Bad in a Few Months
I purchased this controller in January 2023, and by May 2023, it stopped working. My father bought two of these controllers and one started acting up with not allowing to increase speed and his second controller began having issues as well. It is still within the 1 year warranty period to send it back to Bachmann but it will cost me the shipping fees to send it to Bachmann in PA. I know this because I had to send a Bachmann DCC engine back and pay the shipping fee. I have old Tyco controllers and engines from the 70’s that still work fabulously than Bachmann’s junk. Very disappointed with Bachmann’s products.

Stopped working correctly after a couple of days.
Stopped working correctly after only a couple of day's light use. If your familiar or not with this DCC controller it has a dial that is incremental so that you can adjust the speed of your locomotive. On my controller the speed dial Stopped working and would only work if I pushed and held the know down. Even then it was sporadic and and soon as I released the know the locomotive would stop. This is exactly backwards from how it should operate. According to the manual depressing the speed knob should stop the locomotive. I am returning the DCC controller plus hopefully for a correctly working unit.
