Great value for the amount.
This is the only one that is best value and quality. Far more long lasting that store bought

Great product approved by two very fussy guinea pigs
I have been using this product for two years. My guinea pigs have shown how much much they approve of it. I use it for feed and bedding and had no complaints from my little ones yet. It smells so fresh and they love it when we need to open a new bag. They can smell it before I even open the cage. I will keep coming back.

Quality not always the same
This is a great value hay. The piggies love it. Would give 5 stars but taken one away due to the hay being a different cut sometimes. Some batches are large light coloured longer strands whereas others, such as my latest delivery, are small, slightly more dusty strands.

Got this free in my hay.
Just a heads-up about the hay you’re using—I’m a fan of this brand, but I’ve noticed some thorns in my fingers when feeding my three guinea pigs. Even though they are small, I’m concerned they might not be ideal for them. As for this item I found in my latest packet, I’m not sure what it is, but I’m pretty sure it’s not suitable for the guinea pigs to eat. I appreciate that sometimes things get mixed in with the hay. On this occasion, I think it was a bit too large to miss. I’m about halfway through the packet and can’t even pull the object out. It’s obviously some kind of plant, but I’m not sure what it is.

Smells fresh, Excellent value and always eaten up by our 3 rabbits
Our rabbits are now chomping through their third bag of this hay. The reviews here have been quite mixed as to the quality, but the hay in all three of our bags has smelled like fresh cut wild grass and had only a little dust. There is some Timothy hay in it, a few strands, and these tend to get picked out very quickly by the rabbits, but the rest gets steadily eaten through as well. I have found that one way of testing the quality of a hay bale is to give the rabbits a handful when they are fairly hungry and see what remains when they consider it to have all gone. So, after cleaning their hutch and putting fresh wood chips down, to ensure there is no hay from previous meals, I put in a handful of this Meadow Hay and let the rabbits back in. After the usual sniffing around (to see if I'd cleaned their home acceptably, I presume) they got down to one long session of hay chomping. I've made a video and uploaded a set of photos and you can see what they left. There is some thin, straw-like grass left, some of it quite dry and some still a bit green. For standard Meadow hay, at this price (£20.25 for 3 packs, £1.80 per kg) I think this is very good value. So, 4 stars for quality, but 5 stars overall because of the price. Definitely a standard hay we will be buying again, with other hay types as supplements. (Our rabbits are 2 cross-breed does and a Netherland Dwarf buck.)

I’ve bought this 15+ times!
I have ordered this 15+ times now and will never order any other hay! It’s by far the best value for money, you get a great amount for the little you pay, I have two guinea pigs and can easily make one bag last around a month! Some bags are harder than others but on average the hay is soft and not too compact that it’s really difficult to take out. My pigs seem to love the taste & i’ve not had any issues with dust content so far & i’ve been using this brand for YEARS! Really recommend it, i’ve tried so many others and this one is so much more cost effective.
