Very sharp and effective. Certainly makes life easier

The stopper in the handle pops out when the rubber grip slides down with use put a bit of tape on it or loose it in the pile of wallpaper on the floor like I have it work's great to take the paper off

I bought this to help scrape off the old wallpaper, it works like a charm, very little effort required to cleanly remove the paper. However, the rubberised handle slips up very easily as the metal underneath is smooth and powder coated. The end cap then is pushed off leaving the stored replacement blades sticking out. My advice is to remove the stored blades for safety, then remove the rubberised handle and then just put tape over the metal to help with grip. (Or use a pair of gloves with good grip). Once you do this, it will work without effort and since the blades are not cutting through anything tough, one blade will do all your walls, then change the blade if you need to scrape any windows. Sorted.

Good product right price

I saw the cheap packaging and wondered if this will live up to the reviews. It looks and feels a bit like cheap tat at first. But once I got to scraping, I realised this is good!It’s expensive for what it is IMO but does come with replacement blades so I could see this being used for large projects over years. In that sense, it’s worth it.I had no issues with grip. I found it easily glides under wallpaper and it made quick and easy work of a polystyrene layer underneath my wallpaper AND the lining the polystyrene was laid on.Where I was a little heavy on the angle, it was sharp enough to chip the plaster so be careful!Overall I think this might be my best purchase (I have a whole house covered in wallpaper to remove - please send help) on my home Reno so far! I’m thinking of sending back the steamer as it just isn’t needed with this.

This wallpaper scraper is brilliant and really helped. However it had not come with extra blades and my blade has gone blunt quite quickly.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. Recently stripped wallpaper and this did it effortlessly. It’s like sliding a knife through butter. The only downside is the handle. The rubber handle moves up and the plug slid out exposing the blades (which were wrapped in paper) but wearing gloves would probably prevent uncomfortable hands or blisters. At one point I swapped to a scraper, and it became obvious how effective this tool is. A job that would normally take me a full day was cut to a matter of hours.
