Hasn't worked for me
Having done my research and after reading great reviews, I was desperately hoping that this silicolgel would work for my acid reflux problem which is affecting my voice, and my quality of life. I took it for a few days and developed a very sore stomach which made me feel nauseous. I didn't take any for a week and then resumed but taking only once a day before my evening meal instead of three times a day. The following day, my stomach felt very bad so I had to stop taking it. I'm sure this stuff works for some people but sadly it did not work for me. I seem to be able to tolerate Gaviscon, so will continue with that and hope it works!

Fair, But Honest Review - It's not a miracle cure - Stick with cheaper medicine.
So I'll start by saying I'm a clever salesman online and I fell for the good reviews here. Likely A.I generated on mass, good reviews. Especially those promising cures to years long sufferers of IBS. I was diagnosed when I was 14 and I'm still suffering at age 33. It may help some people, especially who report IBS (the most general 'I dunno!' label doctors have ever been given) who experience mild IBS symptoms. Bloaty tummy, minor belly cramps, etc. For anyone on the harsher spectrum on IBS like me. IBS D+C, intense symptoms on both. Regular nausea, fatigue, hives that breakout on your beard/hair when you have the wrong foods or more, this will likely do absolutely nothing for you, except dampen the effect of the occasional bit of nausea or heartburn (Gaviscon does the same and is a fraction of the price). I started taking this after contracting norovirus, believing that "Now was a better time than any to start." I typically self-medicate with a myriad of medicines, but the most powerful soothing one for me tends to be Pepto-Bismol, which has sadly been out of stock for a very long time in the UK. I also use loperamide to at least remove the D from my IBS D+C. I supplement with fibre in psyllium husk and I utilise peppermint and more, along with suppositories to mend frequent hemorrhoids and internal swelling. I've been seen for Chronns & IBDs, yet neither was ever found nor any intolerances. I'm simply putting this here so anyone with a similar profile knows to avoid this. I am also on a very low fodmap diet or a controlled one. I'm doing what I can to avoid my flare ups, which still seem to appear regardless of sleep, stress or food factors at times. Even with all of that in place, this God-awful tasting and feeling product gave me no long-term benefits. My condition has not remotely changed. I bought two bottles of it and I will continue to do so, but I am incredibly, incredibly disappointed and I feel cheated honestly. I should have trusted my gut and been cautious that there wasn't much scientific focus on this product, but like most of you, I'm desperate for a cure that seems to be locked behind private healthcare costs. I'd honestly save your money and just try to spend it on a proper consultation with a nutritionist/gastroenterologist and avoid swimming through miracle cures & snake oil markets. Good luck finding your solution. Sadly this wasn't mine, but I hope its yours if you do give it a go.

exacerbated my acid reflux
I purchased this product based upon reviews and the lack of side effects. Unfortunately for me personally it does not do what it says on the bottle. I was very hopeful that it would work. The bottle states it helps heartburn. This product made my heartburn significantly worse immediately. I pushed through with 15ml 3 times a day for a week but still no improvement unfortunately. I decided to stop taking it and the heartburn went away with immediate effect. As others have stated, we are all different. This product will certainly not work for everyone and certainly was of no benefit for my acid reflux. It actually burnt on the way down and triggered excessive heartburn for me. Sorry.

Acid reflux short term relief
For me a personal suffering from chronic stomach acid reflux its only OK for instance if I have bad hearburn in the morning 15ml intake its soothing but doesn't last come night time the heartburn is back so have to take a 2nd dose another 15ml so it works but 4me doesn't last. Maybe more geared for ibs peeps.

Tastes revolting, but...
** I have taken only a few times and not noticed a difference with my GERD yet, but it is pretty backed up. Will edit if it improves. ** Wrote an early review to say the texture is revolting, however if you down the tablespoon of liquid really quickly then drink something like tea or squash, that is SO much better. Do not take the medicine then allow yourself to taste it, I felt so nauseous after. Hope this helps some people!

Did have an adverse reaction to one of the ingredients.
Took the dose as instructed on the box, in an hour my hands started to itch, I then had an adverse reaction, which was that my skin felt it was on fire. It took a while for this to settle. On the box it says do not use in case of hypersensitivity. How are you suppose to know until you take it. ? There are side effects.

Could be good but not for me
Was excited to try this for my ibs to see if it helped and I can’t say if it actually does as I just can’t stomach drinking it. It tastes horrible and The last time I had it I was sick straight away as it’s very thick and bitty and not nice! It is a decent sized bottle and if you have a strong stomach it might work

Didn't work at all for IBS symptoms
Recently diagnosed with IBS, and saw the postive reviews to help with symptoms. Purchased this product and used the recommended dosaged, and 5 days into treatment it has made absolutely no difference to my symptoms. I wouldn't purchase again.
