Giant World Map Mural – Mega-Map Of The World - Classic Tones - 232 x 158

The world map is on our dining room wall, looks amazing, a real talking point. Bit fiddly to put up, need all your wallpapering skills and some patience, but no more difficult than matching up any other wallpaper. Price is great, compared to full wall maps on wallpaper. We love it. Place names - country, large cities, major rivers -(not hugely detailed I suppose, but scale wouldn't allow for more) all seem correct. Great buy.

We travel quite widely and love the idea of looking up travel plans on our wall. We find the mural adds atmosphere and a certain 'cosiness' to the room. The product comes in a roll of 4 pieces which have to be mated up together on the wall. This is not difficult, but some expertise is required to get an exact match. Unfortunately the sections overlap by about 6 mm so the effect is not a completely flat picture which I think spoils the finished effect slightly although in use the overlap does not notice greatly. The instructions suggest trimming tis overlap once on the wall which, unless you are super confident is not worth trying, a better trim at the manufacturers would have been best. Overall we are pleased with the result and would recommend it to others with some experience of wallpapering.

Like kitchen roll or a mogwai, it really does change shape with water and that means wall paper paste. You’ve either got to get each panel up in a nano second, not use paste or be a much better person than me at wallpapering. The time I spent putting it up, then trying again and then weighing up the half chance of it drying ok against pulling it down and using glue… I could have drawn the map myself

The actual design, colour and print quality is good, and the map *looks* great but as others have said, it feels like the wrong paper to use with wallpaper paste. If you try to use paste, the paper stretches as soon as it's a bit wet and it's impossible to line up correctly, leaving wrinkles and bubbles. I mostly used kids glue stick in the end and that worked so much better, but that's not ideal as it'll be a challenge to remove...

Takes 2 people with a laser level, go thicker less watery on the paste and use finishing edge roller, cloth and dry brush. 2 of us put up in 1hr end to end...looks great and detail is really good

Excellent product, looks great up on wall. As many have mentioned it’s difficult to put up, but worth the effort. It’s quite elastic so try not to stretch, could not get all the bubbles out but most dried out and the rest you do not notice with the colouring.

Great map but not the easiest to hang does tend to stretch when pasted so you have to be ultra quick to hang without getting bubbles in it. Would suggest to paste the wall first as well .
