How wide and how deep is the neck pad section

26cm between the leather bits that attach the middle bit. 3 1/2 cm wide. This was different to my original one so thought it would be cumbersome, but is extremely comfortable and I would recommend it.

I have one of these straps on my Vortex Diamondback 10x50, so they should fit your Olympus !0x50. They are so much more comfortable than the majority of supplied straps.

I get a neckache wearing my binculars around my neck for long periods. Is this strap long enough to wear crossbody with my bioculars attached?

I can wear mine cross body and doing so, the binoculars fit right under my arm, but I don't have the strap fully extended so would be much lower down if the strap was full length. I had similar problems with an old strap, making my neck ache but must say this is the most comfortable strap I have had, so you may find you can wear it round your neck. Either way, I don't think you will be disappointed
