I had a large oval TEK brush but after 6 months the rubber seemed to be degrading and the pins were dropping into it constantly, the rubber cushion was not evenly conical/round when I first received it but I am putting it down as a one off as I have never heard any bad reviews on TEK. I purchased the previous brush through a shop on amazon, so I made sure to buy from the actual TEK shop on amazon, even though it was a bit more costly as I knew the brush would be in perfect condition. I bought the paddle style this time thinking the rubber is flatter (not conical/round like it is on a oval brush) so perhaps it would be more durable. There are a lot of differences between the two styles I have used, there is less give on the paddle as the cushion is much flatter and much less pneumatic. This means it doesn't feel as soft as the oval as the pins do not move up and down as much when brushing so it feels harder on the scalp. When I used the oval there was a rushing air/squeak noise when brushing my scalp but not on this one, that shows the difference in the amount of movement in the cushion. I recommend the paddle if you have straight hair or need minimal detangling. Oval is better when you have more curls or knots as it has more give and won't pull on the hair. I highly recommend TEK as the pins are very soft and there is no rough area on the brush (like a lot of lesser quality brushes) so they are gentle on the hair. Would never use another brand.

This brush is simply perfect for my hair and I never want to be without it, but unfortunately I was recently in hospital and left the brush in my ward and forgot it so I'm back again to get another one.For me, the best thing about it is that it untangles my hair with ease and just glides through without any problems so it's a must have. So if you're looking for a good brush I certainly recommend you try this one as it is definately worth the price.

This brush is ergonomics at its best! It’s so lovely to hold and use. It snags longer hair so a round paddle brush would probably suit longer tresses better. But for shorter cuts it’s absolutely perfect. The wooden bristles are delightfully stimulating on the scalp without hurting or damaging hair or skin.To clean it I hold my finger over the air hole (don’t like the idea of water inside the hairbrush) and use an old toothbrush up and down the length of the brush to clean between the bristles with some Castile soap. Easy peasy. I love this hairbrush and, having owned one before I can say TEK lasts a lot longer than the suggested two years.

This is a wonderful brush - and doesn’t pull long hair - but mine was missing bristle 😔[update the bristle missing is an ergonomic choice created by the brush Designers!]However, it’s a lightweight brush-handle and the bristles are rounded at the end, which are 1.5cm long and approximately 1mm diameter per bristle.The brush bristles are imbedded in a black rubber base, which is sealed with glue into a wooden brush.Sadly mine arrived damaged - and this isn’t the cheapest of brushes 😔~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Update: The bristle missing is not a fault, with a hole in the rubber bristle bed!The hole is for functional purposes induces holistic hairbrushing … they need to make the purpose of the hole nice and clear on the box maybe? - then bananas’ like me wouldn’t think it was damaged.

Really like wooden hair brushes and this is a really nice one. Very effective at smoothing my hair and gives a nice scalp massage at the same time. Should last a long time.

I have been using this brush for a few months now, so happy to report on how it's been.Positives:Great build quality, comfortable handle, soft rounded bristles, had a lovely scent on use. Sourced more locally, so a lower carbon footprint, that was an important factor for me - despite the cost.Negatives:Price, for this I would have expected replacement bristles and maybe some soap... Loss of lovely scent! Such a minor thing, which if you clean and use a scented soap will help, but wouldn't be the same. I'd love to know what they used!Despite initial concerns for using a wooden brush, the comfort and ease of use - yes I did mean that, has been really welcomed. I have thin hair, so dealing with knots was easy. My partner, who has think hair tried it at the start and thought the same, so is considering one.

Muy satisfecha con este cepillo de pelo. Desenreda sin tirar ni romper el cabello, incluso cuando lo tengo más enredado. Las cerdas son suaves pero efectivas, y dejan el pelo con un aspecto más cuidado y sin encrespamiento.Además, es muy cómodo de usar y se adapta bien a la mano. Lo utilizo tanto en seco como en mojado y funciona perfectamente en ambos casos.Se nota la calidad desde el primer uso. Sin duda, una compra que merece la pena y que volvería a repetir.

Incluye una bolsa para guardarlo y su caja. Está bien hecho. Tiene un hoyo en el centro pero no es un defecto, está diseñado así para circulación del aire.

Das ist gewollt und steht auch so in der kleinen beigelegten Anleitung drin. Der Grund ist, dass damit die Bürste Atmen und kein Schimmel entstehen kann. Bitte vorher die Produktbeschreibung lesen, bevor man hier eine negative Bewertung schreibt und das Produkt zurückschickt.Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Cuando me llegó, me pareció pequeño, pero en realidad queda muy cómodo en la mano.No creía que iba a ser tan maravilloso como lo describen, porque he probado muchos cepillos y ninguno hacía milagros. PERO, este cepillo si que hace milagros y si que es maravilloso, en la última foto que he subido, muestro el cepillo después de usarlo, y está perfectamente limpio, no me sacó ni un pelo, es muy suave y agradable al usar. Mi pelo es decolorado por mechas, fino y medio largo, normalmente al cepillar siempre me sacaba pelos. Pero es el primer cepillo que me agrada tanto 100% . Sé que es muy caro, pero después de probarlo, me voy a llevar la línea entera y uno mini para el bolso.Lo recomiendo para tod@s, merece la pena gastar, es un producto maravilloso.
