The case seems fairly resistant and accommodates the correct locations for the fans, openings and ports of the machine, which is a Dell XPS13 Plus. It sits very tight and an accidental detach seems unlikely. However, this is also deficit, since installing it could easily scratch or damage the system if not done very carefully (compared to adding a case to a phone for example). Even though the case closes, the laptop inside does not anymore. Overall for this price I would not buy it again. I could imagine less issues with a material more akin to rubber.

I was misled; it is not compatible with my XPS It covers the ports, and I had to return it, but I couldn't send it back. I had no time. But I have time now. So, I have lost my money. But if they haven't misled me. I would not lose my money. Very disappointing. I don't know if I have dumped the case into the bin or my storage place. Great product. Made well and fits my computer. Easy to put on. I installed both piece with no problem in under a minute. Fast shipping. If I need another case, I would buy this again. The look of this is very nice. Light grey see through so the dell is still showing up. Has vent cut outs on the bottom to allow my computer to breath.

For the price that you pay for this item, you’d think it would fit snugly on the XPS 9320. It was such a hassle to put on and after managing to slide in and snap most of the corners in, the front side of the cover doesn’t ever snap into place. I tried adding a lot of pressure to force it, but then part of the cover cracked and I was afraid that I would damage the keyboard from over exertion. The cover makes the laptop look super bulky too. For 50 bucks, you’d think you would get better quality.

Case functions as advertised, however I’m docking a couple stars because there is an instruction sticker placed directly on the lid of the product. This would be fine if it peeled away easily or was on an outer plastic sleeve, but instead requires you to scratch and damage your brand new case to get it off. My suggestion: use goo gone to make it easier to take off prior to installing, but should not be required for a product at this price point.
