It's nice but not the strongest truffle flavour or smell.

Really good value for money

My husband and I love truffles, in every shape or form. This mayonnaise is extremely nice, the truffles enhance the taste of the mayonnaise, it goes particularly well with plain and smoked salmon, potatoes and in canapés. If you are a foodie, I would highly recommend it!

I don't know how others have found this good, but this product is absolutely horrible. Firstly it contains 1.5% real truffle and TRUFFLE FLAVOURING, which means you have no idea where the FLAVOURING comes from, could be chemical flavor like a lot of companies use. Secondly the truffle flavor is very mild (not surprising) and overpowered by the flavor of RAPESEED OIL, of which they have put two types, one of which is organic. Why this mixing? Why not stick to one standard organic rapeseed oil? Why is there FLAVOURING? The taste was absolutely horrible, their oils are decent (also contain FLAVOURING) but this Mayo is ghastly. Do not order this product at all. Or go ahead and be disappointed, don't forget to write a review after to warn others. It ruined my homemade burgers.

OK this is a nice looking product, well presented, nice jar etc. On opening I got a waft of truffle, very nice. The Mayo was creamy and looked fantastic, BUT, on eating I had an issue with an unpleasant aftertaste, a little sour, persistent and unpleasant. After checking the ingredients I can only think that this was caused by the Rapeseed oil. I maybe should have checked before purchasing. But unfortunately this one is not for me, my wife was equally unimpressed which is a shame as other TruffleHunter items I've bought have been spot on.

マヨネーズの油の劣化なのか、酸化した油の風味みたいな味が強烈でした。不味いというか、廃油で作りました？ってくらい不味いです。味にトリュフの風味が無いとかの以前の問題。5000円くらいのお金をドブに捨ててしまった感じです。最悪。

香りが強すぎると香りに敏感な連れ合いには気に入っていただけませんでした。

トリュフの香りが全くしないのですがプレーンのマヨネーズとして食べようと思っても、劣化した油の臭いなのか？トリュフの香りより油のが臭くて食べられたものではありませんでした。これは酷過ぎます。

I’ve ordered this expensive mayo 3 times. It tastes good, when it’s good. But the first jar I got was a bit funky looking, and this third jar, as you see in the photos, was separated and curdled. Disgusting looking. I had the runaround trying to get a refund for it because the item is not returnable, and all the layers of automated Amazon help kept telling me nothing could be done. I finally got to speak to a real agent, who did offer a refund, thank goodness. But that is too much hassle to go through; probably would have been easier just to find the truffles myself and add it to some Duke's mayo! <JK>, but buyer beware!
