Acoustic Guitar Amplifier (PRO-LBC-500)

I have the original Loud Box and this thing didn’t sound anything like it should.

Quite portable (not too heavy!) with stellar acoustic instrument tone. I'm a solo performer and have used this for busking, on-stage and in outside concert venues. I've come to prefer this over my Fishman Artist and SoloAmp 330 for all the qualities I've mentioned. Its compact size makes it fairly east to stash in my small car, too. I do find, however, that if in applications where there are other musicians and larger amps, I can get buried unless I use it's line-out to send the signal to the FOH system and rely on my mini for my monitor. Battery life is pretty good, but I try to keep it charged. Not been disappointed with this tiny beast.

This has to be one of my favorite amp, specially for my acoustic guitar, it really drives it home for sound quality. This one is the Charge, so I don't need to have it plugged in to use it; it will run on it's battery for up to 8hrs they say. it might be only me, but the MIC input seems to blend my voice with the chords I'm playing. seems like something is going on there. I do sound better through this amp. Nothing in the marketing mentioned anything about voice enhancements; but it might be simply because the acoustic guitar just sounds properly and my voice matches it naturally. regardless, I do recommend it if you have a good acoustic guitar with pickups.

When you buy this you've acquired first rate quality. I can't say enough about it. I've been using guitar amps since 1960. This is the best small amp I've ever played with. One thing that was really important to me was having my acoustic sound like an acoustic while being amplified. This one, Fishman Loudbox Mini battery powered, does the trick. I have a soft voice and use their mic input. It reflects my voice perfectly with as much amplification I choose. They even supplied the charging cord with enough length (12ft) that you don't have to have the amp even close to the electrical outlet. I've used this in coffee houses that had quite a bit of customer noise and had no problem with the patrons hearing me. The price made me pause at first, but once I got it and started using it there was no remorse. It may even be a little underpriced for the quality you get.
