I can't speak to the durability/longevity of this product as I just received it. However, it send well built enough and does exactly what it says it does. It removes the top of a can without any sharp edges. It essentially turns any can into a drinking cup. I've used it on tallboy type cans, regular 12 oz cans, and even skinny cans. It's easy to use and is fairly simple, once you figure out how it functions. (Use the included QR code for the how-to video, it made it much simpler)

Picked this up as a total impulse buy because it looked cool, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. I’ve ended up using it on every single can of soda and beer, even when I’m not adding anything extra to the drink, just because it makes cans nicer to drink from.​ There is a small learning curve, and it’s not 100% intuitive out of the box, but the short how‑to video on the manufacturer’s site clears everything up and makes it very easy to use. Once you get the motion down, it pops the top off quickly and leaves a smooth opening that feels a lot more like drinking from a glass.​​ For the price—under $15 when I bought it—it feels like a great value, especially given how often I reach for it now. After about two weeks and roughly 20–30 cans, I’m not seeing any signs of wear or looseness, and it still works just as well as it did on day one.​ If you enjoy canned drinks and like the idea of “upgrading” the experience a bit, this is an easy little upgrade that’s absolutely worth trying. This opener is a little bit finicky. It is similar to the oxo can opener, but is made for drink cans instead of canned goods. The first few times I tried it, the lid dropped inside the can. Eventually, I got the hold of it, literally. Regardless, I always inspect the inner edge just in case. And in this case, there was a rather sharp pointed sliver of aluminum. Otherwise, it works okay. Unfortunately, it does not work on sapporo cans, which happens to have really thick side walls which makes them perfect cans for lid removal. Regular drink cans feel flimsy once the lids are removed.

I have several of these pricey YETI can cozies, and I always wished I could just pour myself some water, a beverage, or cocktail in an open can and use them to keep my drink cold. Not even MiiR sells no top shortie cans (though they did sell a tall-boy open top can a few years ago). This thing is the solution. I now have a 6-pack of open top aluminum cans that go right into the dishwasher and get re-used for water, mixed drinks, juice, and all are kept YETI cold, no sweating cans or glasses, no need for coasters! It's a fantastic device to have discovered. It is simple, cuts cleanly. The instructional video is very clear. It's small enough to stow away when not being used to make another top-free can, and robust enough to simply slice and dice the tops off your favorite 12-oz Aluminum can. Since this will provide countless new containers, and allows me to keep all my drinks icy cold and sweat free, it's worth it! So glad I found this product.

I used to like bottles or pouring into glasses, then I got this. Everybody I hand a can to loves this, I never go without it. It's not a novelty, you can smell what you're drinking, your nose doesn't hit the can lid when you're drinking it, you get everything from the can. Edges are smooth too.

More drink on the counter than anywhere else! Does not cut very well! Would not recommend

Had a cheap version of this type of product in the past. It didn't work so was cautious about trying again. This periodic is amazing! Did exactly what it says, great results, easy to use.
