Has anyone had problems with this pattern? I can't seem to set it. The back seems to have 10 stitches too many for the pattern

Sorry brought pattern but not made it. Alli ca say is put 5 extra stitches to panels on sides of back .

What size knitting needles do I need please

I use 4.5 and 5.5 . I always go up a size in needle as i tend to knit tight.
