Cat Mate Elite Wall Liner Tunnel Section 50mm for 305, 355, 358, 360 Flaps

Handy extension piece for Cat Mate cat flap. For use when you are putting the cat flap in a wall.

The liner exactly fits with the cat flap as long as you buy the same make and seems to be made of reasonably good plastic. Mine came with no instructions at all for a wall fitting and I resorted to YouTube to find how best to fit this. If you have a cavity wall you will probably need more than one liner and you may also need to cut the depth of the liner to fit - it has 3 grooves around the outside to give you a straight line and it is moderately easy to cut it with a hacksaw. The video clip showed the liner being attached to the cat flap and/or extra liners using tape around the outside which is sensible. However I also recommend using some clear or white waterproof sealant at least along the bottom part where the cats walk through as water may get through the join otherwise.

Bought these to go through a cavity was as was fitting a Cat Mate Elite Microchip cat flap They are not cheap BUT they work well and give a neat finish They click on to the original flap opening to make it longer (push fit) You need this specific extender for the Cat Mate Elite Microchip cat flap (specific shape) - they clip on to the flap you bought - they fit into the exterior cover part (seal with silicon once you are happy with the fit) I did look at making an alternative from slate or plywood but could not find a neat way to do this. Tip Before you insert the catflap and extensions run some duck tape round each joint (on the outside of each extension, you wont see it when fitted).

If you buy these to go with the catflap you will also need the additional adaptor kit so they fit into your catflap! Bit of a rip off but when it's done it looks good

Easy to follow instructions and to fit

Had to buy multiple wall liners as we had a cat flap installed in a wall. Looks great. If like to compliment the seller for making sure the items were dispatched speedily.

Fitted together really well. My only issue is the cost £10. I used 5 of these so this was nearly as much as the main unit. Just bite the bullet and buy them if you want a quality installation.

Ottimo per creare un tunnel nel muro (ne abbiamo usati 5 per un totale di 30cm). Abbinato a gattaiola Cat Mate. Molto apprezzato dal ns gatto di 6 kg!!

I'm glad I bought this but my wall was definitely thinner than I anticipated. I was worried I would need two but one was plenty. It sticks out about an inch but the exterior cover almost makes up for it. I really don't know how you'd measure the thickness of your walls, but if you know how to do that you'll know exactly how many of these you need.
