These hip protection pads worked really well while I was learning how to ski. When you’re starting out you’re bound to fall a few times, and these definitely helped soften the impact. They gave me a lot more confidence because I wasn’t as worried about landing hard on my hips. They’re comfortable to wear under ski pants and don’t feel too bulky or restrictive. After a few runs I honestly forgot I was even wearing them. The padding seems well placed and does a good job absorbing the shock from falls. If you’re new to skiing or snowboarding, I’d definitely recommend something like this. It makes the learning process a lot less painful and lets you focus more on improving instead of worrying about falling.

These padded shorts are great in keeping you protected from falls while rollerblading. I specifically bought them for my son who was learning to rollerblade. they are thick so they do protect you from fall. He likes that they are comfortable as well, the only downside is that in the summer they will make you hot because of the thick padding. They are easy to throw in the washer as well, they have not been damaged at all.

Awesome pants. Use these a lot for snowboarding when I started falling on my ass quite a bit helped a lot with my ass not hurting. Make sure when you’re wearing these that your snow pants don’t let any moisture or water inside. Otherwise, they’ll start getting wet really quickly.

Perfect for the price. The fit is great and the shape contours to the body nicely — not too tight and not too loose. It provides good protection for the hips and tailbone while still being breathable and comfortable to wear. Great value for money!

Took snowboarding lessons for first time today. For reference: female, 130lbs, 5’ 2” I really wanted to love these but I think they’re just okay. I’m on the hunt for something better still. Did they keep my bum warm and save me on a lot of falls? Sure did. Am I glad I had them? Yes. Did they do their job? Definitely. Cons are it’s not a sweat wicking material and gets pretty hot. Ends up sweaty and sticky and then you’re cold after a few hours of learning. They’re also super bulky. I had to go up a full size in snow pants from small to medium. They also really aren’t designed for a woman’s body/hips. They felt too large around the waist and very constricting through the hips. The velcro waist wasn’t comfortable and on me (as a petite) it came up to my ribs which wasn’t the most comfortable.

But these. I’m new to snowboarding. My first time out I took a mild spill and couldn’t sit right for a week. My second time out I wore these. Took a nastier spill going much faster. While there was some mild pain (to be expected in your 30s lol). I was able to get right back up and keep going. They were a little big, as I ordered them that way. However they held up well and were comfortable! Defiantly helps give you confidence when you’re less worried about eating it!

I bought these to prevent the hip soreness and bruising I have experienced after falls while ice skating. I recently fell on my bottom with these on and the dense protective foam did its job and prevented both. It's not to say I did not feel the impact. I just didn't get the hip soreness or bruising. As far as fit is concerned I am a 5 ft 11 in 200 lb man with a 40 in waist. I purchased the 3xl and wear them under my pants. The fit at the waist is fine. There is some bagginess in the bottom but not so much that it bothers me when I move. These are so much less cumbersome than the budget hockey pants I tried on. I recommend them for recreational ice skating.

In der richtigen Größe gewählt, passt sie sehr gut und ist auch bei sportlichen Bewegungen angenehm zu tragen. Die Polsterung ist ordentlich dick und bietet daher einen guten Schutz.

The butt pads were for my son, who used a pair last year. He swears by them, saying they give you confidence to try new things or go bigger on the jumps. Bonus is that they also keep your bum warm. Great and important piece of ski/snowboard gear
