IT WORKS!!! Great product!!
IM SO IMPRESSED!? This product did exactly what I needed it to do. So easy to use and absolutely natural looking. Covered greys, gave my hair a bit of darkness which I wanted and left it totally natural looking. This was MY process, that suited me. How I used it. 1. Quickly Pre shampooed my hair in the sink with Alfaparf SDL Purify shampoo twice to remove product build up and to prep hair. Hair is left damp not wet. 2. Wearing gloves, put a decent amount of Grey shampoo into the palm of your hand and massage into hair. Quick comb through. 3. Jump into the shower and wash yourself as normal. (Iโm a fella so takes about 5 mins MAX). Donโt Rinse your hair. 4. Get out of shower, go to sink and RINSE your hair! Pat hair dry with DARK towel. I do it this way for 2 reasons. One, to allow longer time for grey coverage. And two, so I donโt stain my tiles (Iโm not taking any chances lol). Worked a treat. (Once I didnโt wear gloves it stained my hand, gloves is recommended) Highly recommended. I was nervous about this product but actually turned out amazing.

Reduces grey, makes hair generally darker
I am 28 and recently found I was going more and more grey by the day it seemed. I bought this and then didn't use it for about 6 weeks due to being in denial. Anyway, I used it every day for about a week and not much changed, then by week 2 I felt I noticed a real difference. I moved to using it 2-3 times a week and gradually found my hair colour has gone quite a bit darker (at least a couple of shades) than it was before. It was enough for my girlfriend to make a comment about whether or not I had finally tried the shampoo I got! I would say it's a good product, it doesn't really target grey hair but it definitely reduces it, however it does also make your overall colour a couple of shades darker. Now that I am in "maintenance mode" I'll keep using it as it's easier than dye, but would suggest people who aren't using any hair colouring products to cover their greys, just to skip this and go to Just for Men. If your overall hair colour is going to change, may as well get it over and done with in one go. If you want that gradual change though, this works great.

Actually works and works well. Very convenient.
I was dubious of this product, but thought I'd give it a go. It does work - started noticing a difference after 3 days and have reached the level I want after 12 (salt-and-pepper with much more pepper). Will be switching to every other day and see how it goes. Key benefits for me: - Takes no additional time over regular showering/hair-washing. Lather up, let it sit there for a couple of minutes while you wash, then rinse it off. - Because it dyes little and often, roots don't become visible as they would with a permanent. - Greys seem to blend better than permanent dyes, avoiding that reddish-brown tint they can have. - Looks totally natural as greys remain, but really toned down. - Remarkably, doesn't stain the skin - not sure how that works, but it does. - Smells pleasant, no stinging or itching that I've noticed. I've been careful to keep it off my nails to prevent staining that some people have mentioned. No issues with that. Don't expect this to make your hair a solid mop of dark-brown with no greys - that would be defeating the point of this product. Use this if you want really toned-down greys and a natural look. Overall, this is a bit of a miracle product. Not only does the colour look good and natural, but it's also very convenient to use. Won't be using anything else from now on.

Works well, just remember to keep using it.
I've been using this for a few months now, and I must say it makes a noticeable effect of hiding those greys that seem to appear more and more as I get older! Firstly you must do the skin test where you put a bit on yourself and make sure you aren't allergic to the ingrediants for 24/48 hours, then once that test didn't produce any nasty skin complaints then you are good to go. In the shower just wet your hair, squeeze a bit into one hand and apply to your hair, leave on for the recommended minute or so, rinse your hair then use your usual stuff as normal. After a few uses the greys start to lessen and you get to look a bit younger with each use. You must remember that once your hair starts to look how you like it, keep up using this every other day or once in 3 days to maintain the colouration. I find it works really well after a haircut and darkens short hair nicely. One small thing to note is to make sure you don't let the suds stay on your fingernails for more than a few seconds, as they are made of the same material as your hair (keratin) and they will become coloured the same way your hair. All in all a good product, makes me look younger, cheaper than going to a hairdresser and zero side effects for me.

Useless
This product used to be arguably the best male grooming product ever. I used it for years, and no-one could tell. My hair looked natural, I could control the colour and because my hair is very short I used it almost every day. Then, for reasons that baffle me, they changed the formula. Now, it just doesn't work. It doesn't have much effect on the colour of my hair yet leaves a ginger cast to it. I've had to stop using it, which means I probably won't ever be able to use it again even if they go back to the original formula, as everyone would be able tell. I complained the manufacturers but they tried to pretend it was a rogue batch and sent me sample of a Touch of Grey which was the wrong shade. It was no good anyway because I clip my hair short every week so what use is a colour that lasts 8 weeks? They've scored a spectacular own goal. They need to go back to the original formula and advertise it with a massive campaign. Don't buy it until they do

It works... like a very weak hair dye
This product works but perhaps not how it is advertised. It does not 'have a brain'; in my experience it works by *very* slowly darkenining all hairs. This is why you'll see some reviews saying after it week it didn't work vs. others saying be patient. It DOES work, and repeated use over time will make greys less obvious, but it darkens everything in small doses and you should be aware of this effect. I have medium to dark brown hair (or at least used to once upon a time). In my experience it will darken your greys and make them less obvious but it is by no means a perfect solution. If you use it then be patient - it will take a while to be noticeable (but also don't over-do it unless you want black hair!)

Proud of my Hair again for the first time in years!
In short - I'm VERY happy indeed .. here's my review in more detail ITS A REVIEW AFTER 2 MONTHS OF USAGE! *don't you hate those reviews after 1 week etc! : Does it work? My hair is a natural brown, 80% grey on the short sides 40% grey on the longer top and and for that Yes It works! As it says on the package - it leaves greys. I can control the level of grey ok on the longer hairs - package says leave it in for 1 min - by doing it less or more time it makes a big short term difference. So if going out on an evening you want it darker - leave it 1m 30s. etc. Play with the time would be my advice. To begin with I used it just twice a week - I didn't want to over do the affect in one big bang. But I'm super happy with the colour since it is natural looking and doesn't have that fake tint on normal dyes. Also, because you use it regularly, you don't start having grey roots.. what man does "root colouring"?? The affect on my short side head hairs is less pronounced - it doesn't seem to catch on them as much (I have a number one shave at the hairdressers) Tip 1: play with the time you leave it in Tip 2: don't leave it in too long / use it too much at the beginning - better to build it up Tip 3: give the bottle a shake ! Does it stain bathrooms? Originally I'd of said no but one day, in a rush, I left some shampoo on the shower floor.. Holy cow did it go brown! I then spent a month brushing it off again. Be VERY careful to clean down the shower after every usage. I use a big (fake) chamee cloth. Doesn't take long. BE CAREFUL and you'll be fine. As others have said, as a general shampoo it is remarkably good. Tip 4: clean down the bathroom / shower after use! Will I buy it again? Yes !! I'm completely hooked. I love it and hated having grey hair. Short of a pill to restore original hair colour, I love this product. If I ever heard they are going to stop making it I'd buy 10 years supply of it. I might do it anyway just in case! Honestly the best grey hair solution I've ever found. Judging by other comments, some people say it doesn't work on their hair.

Did this to prevent black fingers ears fingernails :)
It is very likely that when using this item you'll end up with black fingers, ears, finger nails etc. I use it as follows and no problems :) Ok, we'll this product works well but I don't use it as recommended so, this is how I use it and apply it and I hope this helps. I saw the advert on tv, so, I tried it. My fingers nails went black and just behind my ears. 1. Take a tub of vaseline. Dip your fingers in and then apply it all around your hairline and behind your ears, on your ears at the back, temples etc. 2. Go to the shower, soak your hair and then dry just a little just to stop all the dripping. 3 put on some latex gloves and apply gx to your hair. I actually use the brush I use to get with just for men beard which is perfect and prevents a lot of dripping, so it is carefully brushed in and far far more accurate than fingers. 4. Now. Personally I leave it for about 3 or 4 minutes. At 3 minutes, I have turned on the shower, I take the shower head and gently rinse my hair and just pat it dry with an old towel. Have some tissue handy just in case you get any drips and dab it of immediately with the tissue. I don't know why they say you can just use it like shampoo, I just can't see how that could be possible. The above sounds complicated I guess but honestly, it really is easy and you won't end up with the give away black marks behind you ears or near sideburns or temples. No black fingers either :) :) 5. I check my fingernails, check for any black marks behind my ears and if I find any, I will quickly apply some vaseline and clean it away. Well, that's how I do it and it works well and I'm sure it will for you too. Give it a go. I really hope this helps you. I just wish somebody had left something like this for me to read, before I used it the first time. :) :)
