Bond It BDC003 Solvent Cleaner, 1L

This stuff works. I tried it on ingrained dirt and wood stains on a 23 year old white uPVC patio door. Its very runny solvent that dries within a minute on a warm day and it won't shift the dirt on it's own as you still need to use a plastic scourer to actually shift the dirt. The problem is that it dries so quick that the released dirt dries back on the plastic when the solvent evaporates (albeit not so a stubbornly as previously). Hot soapy water got a lot of it off and away from the plastic but found I often had to re apply the solvent and lightly scrub again with a quick soapy rinse to get it all off. The other thing is as other reviews it really does smell, not that bad but filled the house as I had the patio door open when applying so keep the door and windows shut when applying it! Despite the downsides (which I sort of expected) it worked and shifting the dirt was so pleasing. It might work better in a cream you could leave on for a while and stayed wet during scrubbing and rinsing but it did the job 4.5/5

Great product. I forgot to tape my window when I foam filled the gaps round it and this stuff took it off the frames no problem. Water based gloss and emulsion also came off. I used a old knitted dish cloth to give some soft abrasion. Cleaned up 10 years worth of build up that regular cleaning couldn't touch. They look almost like new now. Used about 1/5 of the bottle on the inside window frames. Well definitely be using this throughout the house on my windows and doors.

I had stubborn glue residue on glass windows and it needed quite a bit of scrubbing. The odour is very strong so wear a mask and open your windows if using inside

I would 100% recommend this product. I never have high expectations of cleaning products but this is incredible! We had a really mucky entrance door sill which also had paint specs and tile adhesive residue and as well as the ingrained dirt, cleaned it an absolute treat!

This stuff saved me hundreds! I was innocently filling gaps in window frames around the house using expanding foam, just as the installers do, but a little mor generously to minimise drafts ect. Typically when changing canisters the valve stuck open and sprayed foam all over the back door leaving a yellow mess all over it. I pondered for days wondering how i was going to get the resedue off without scratching the door... Low and behold this stuff! Paired with a green plastic scour pad its a force to be reckoned with. Not only did it pretty effortlessly remove the smeared foam stains, it removed the old silicone marks and paint from the bad cutting in previously and on top of all that left a lovely shine on the pvc. This stuff is well worth the money and the smell. 1l is enough to do all your windows too unless you live in a completely upvc house. Really saved my bacon. Hats off to it

Not the best of cleaners, if it’s just a bit of dirt on your window frames then that’s all it will remove, any real stubborn dirt you really have to give it some elbow grease. THIS WILL NOT REMOVE ANY TYPE OF SILICONE

Yes, of course it's whiffy, it's an industrial grade product.

Got this hoping it may of removed adhesive tape from upvc it makes it go soft but dose not take it straight off, But it dose clean up the upvc frame nice has a strong solvent smell.
