Does the quick-release coupler incliude a shut-off valve I don't see one so suspect not but just checking, please?

Yes it does have a shut off valve. When seperated nothing comes out at all. Just used 3 of them in a camping holiday. For cooker and patio heater. No gas leaked at all.

Can this be used with argon gas for tig welding?

If the Argon gas is at low pressure it should be ok. Normal applications for these couplings would be no more than 36mb/5PSI.

Does this fit a cadac

This is an inline connector to be used in the run of hose. For a Cadac, you would be better with the Quick Release Nozzle which connects onto the burner and allows you to disconnect the hose.
