love this plasma cutter it light and compact cuts 1/2'' thick steel like butter in 230v easy to use the only thing i wish that arccaptain would provide a laminated chart for the amp and psi settings for the thickness of material so the chart could be kept next to the machine for reference

Great little machine!! I needed to torch some leaf spring bolts and didn’t want to spend money on a bulky torch kit. Ran this on 220v and a bolt can’t be stuck if it’s liquid!! If you’re on the fence ,BUY IT!! Handy little machine to have around

This is my first plasma cutter purchase. I am restoring an old John Deere riding mower and needed to fabricate a mount for new motor, etc. After watching several videos and reviews I decided to go with this one. In my limited experience it’s a good one. It’s easy to set up and operate. The controls are simple. It comes ready to use right out of the box. I did make one change before even turning it on though. It comes set up with a hard line air fitting instead of a standard quick connect for an air compressor hose. So I changed that so I didn’t have to fool with putting a fitting on the hose it comes with. It took a few practice cuts to dial in the settings and for me to get used to using it. But it does a great job.

So far everything works good. It cuts nicely and is set up pretty nice. Its not a Lincoln, but for the 1/5 of the price its good. I really only have a nitpicky and one improvement. The plastic cover is duh plastic, it would be nice for a non-meltable cover for the lines that are near contact with high heat and a plasma arc. The pressure regulator/water seperator is only held on by 2 #8 or #10 screws and has very little support and creates a point of failure if your moving around and not keeping it on a work bench

Been using for cutting things in and for my horse trailer. My only regret is not purchasing sooner! I have used both the standard 120v 20amp circuit thingy and then also a 250v on a 30 amp circuit or something (idk man I'm just winging this it was just a big plug and I used it lmao) and I've set this thing to 35 amps when I needed some more power and it cuts like butter! I haven't needed more power than this. I also did a ton of cutting and only had to change consumables once. I am using a 15 gallon Dewalt air compressor with like 5 scfm I think and I haven't had an issue. I have to wait for it to catch up sometimes, but usually I am taking a break or grabbing a drink anyways. I can cut for a few minutes without stopping. Overall, so glad I purchased!

Might just be me but cant get it to cut consistently starts then stops, watched video’s and tried multiple times tried new tips same thing hooked to 220 same thing wished it would work

You will be hard pressed to find a better plasma cutter at the price point. This thing worked fantastic during my smoker build and cut very well and clean. May not be for everyday use but for the hobbyist it is near perfect.

No tengo mucha experiencia con estas máquinas pero hace años usé una y pensé que me vendría bien tener algo así para ciertos trabajos. Puede que no haya sabido calibrarla pero no tengo buena opinión respecto al corte: no era limpio. Probé las 2 boquillas que traía y ninguna cortaba lo fino que yo necesitaba y por eso le quito una estrella. La otra estrella se la quito porque, cuando la devolví, la empresa se quejó por el estado de devolución lo cual no comprendo porque la máquina estaba intacta a excepción de las 2 boquillas que inevitablemente las tuve que usar para probar y saber si era o no lo que buscaba. En 6 años comprando en Amazon es la única queja que he tenido ya que siempre he sido muy curiosa a la hora de hacer devoluciones, por lo que sinceramente creo que no tenía sentido su protesta y que les ha faltado comprensión, ya que es imposible probar la máquina sin usar las boquillas.
