Excited discovery
The kids had a lot of fun. They are a bit messy but worth the excitement they expressed each time they found a gem.

Super fun birthday gift
I got this a gift for my nephew turning 6. He loved digging into this and finding lots of treasures. His younger and older siblings also loved playing with it. Its size was pretty good for the price.

Good for 6-9 age group
Probably best to use outside with the hose. You have to get the spheres wet first.May need a hammer to open the orbs.Kids thought that was cool using the hammer to open the orbs.Jewels were good size.

The gift that keeps on giving
Awesome! Kept my 7 year olds busy for a while. It comes with literature about each stone, which was interesting. Then, I got them a kids microscope (National Geographic), which we can view the stones with. Next- I will be purchasing empty stone cages, to make crystal jewelry necklaces to give away as gifts. Great product. My boys loved it.

My daughter's had a blast with this. It absolutely makes a total mess though.

A fun time for my 4 yr old!
This is a messy, fun project for any kid! Tons of tools and safety glasses they can wear when digging. I like the different colored balls so they can do this more than once. Winter in Ohio means they can't do it outside, but I would recommend it! For now we do this project in the tub for easy clean up! I would buy it again or even give as a gift!

Excellent purchase
Grandkids loved this - had a blast working to get the gems out - came with safety glasses and all the tools - made the kids feel authentic - it is a very messy project - would suggest to use outdoors - the activity took some time which is nice because the kids were engaged in it and got very excited everytime they found a gem
