The definitive football game... forget the PES15 hype ! It's not a patch on this ...
This game is absolutely superb in every department. Those who are knocking it for the poor defending and the high score lines fall i to two categories: 1. They do not understand the controls 2. They play Seasons and have not progressed beyond Division 10 or 9 ... As a seasoned Fifa player even I found high scores for some reason in the lower leagues .. I cannot quite put my finger on why this is unless EA have set the AI parameters these lower leagues to make it much easier for newbies, or the casual gamers. Once you progress throughout the game the whole feel of the game play changes and we get back to some real great games with players of an equal standard. i will accept the art of defending is much different, but once you get it then the games are fantastic. Real end to end battles with fantastic game play, great skills, great defending, brilliant goals, superb goalkeeper mechanics ... I love this game .... I haven't even mentioned the graphics, but they are truly superb on next gen and although if you look and listen long enough there are some things which are strange and could be improved and no doubt will be in time the overall package is nothing less than superb.....great stuff, must have buy, get it, play it, get used to it and the experience is fantastic ! Fifa 14 on Next gen was great, this exceeds it greatly ..... i'm just waiting for the version now where the referee draws that white line for the defending wall and the little round circle o the grass where the ball is placed... and watch it disappear after 15 seconds ! Come on EA .. keep it real ! ... Roll on Fifa 16

Striding Forward, With Yaya Toure-esque Conviction
Fantastic update to the franchise. I tend to exclusively play the Career Mode, which has had some good additions, such as the Scouting mode now provides you with more information than in FIFA 14 and players seem to develop better.Graphics are superb and player likenesses seem to have improved, even for certain less "glamorous" players. I have played endless hours and have yet to become bored, which is likely to be the case until the next instalment arrives. The main negatives would be that fouls seem to be given for what can only be described as software glitches. The most common example of this in practice is where my player is tackled fairly in the box, but falls over onto the tackler's "follow through" (no, he hadn't had dodgy lasagne), at which point a penalty is given. Now, I could sportingly blast the ball over, but instead, I smash it into the roof of the net because I am a nasty person. Either way, it's a minor glitch and the very same sensitive foul-giving system can be executed to perfection, where a player could be very subtly tripped, or tugged and the decision given either way. I like this element of the game, because it allows for a degree of "imperfection" in the referee's decision-making, much like in real life. Also, there is improved "uncertainty", adding to better realism in other elements of the game, such as keepers who interweave blinding saves with jaw-dropping blunders, from finger-saving curving free-kicks onto the crossbar, to performing a bizarre jazz-hand like pose and nutting the ball into the roof of their own net. Their certainty at corners also seems far more dependent on their relative attributes. The bloody linesman still have the reactions of amphetamine-fed cats as they will still penalise you for being a mere centimetre offside. It would have been good to see a degree of imperfection in that respect of the game, as in those inch-perfect situations, a real linesman will never know for certain, but would have to use their judgement, and giving the benefit of doubt to the attacker. Perhaps this is an option the developers could look at for future instalments.Overall, a fantastic update and one where the developers have not rested on their laurels. They have taken risks in order to improve the gameplay and realism, the majority of which have paid off. I hope that they do not receive and buckle to hate mail from players who refuse to accept such a progressive approach, and instead continue striding forward with the updates to this game, as well as with future instalments.

Usual ups and downs with a glossy finish!
Each year I buy Fifa for the updated teams, player statistics and new 'physics' they implement and while things have't taken a huge step forward for a long time now, the old generation version still has a full premiership license with all 20 stadiums and improved presentation to boot. While ultimate team applies to most, I am exclusively a career mode player and always have been. Improvements in this game mode are clear from the start with the improved graphical team setup as opposed to the typical, bland list of player names. This allows custom formations to be created much easier and teams to be changed much faster, allowing a much more streamlined route from game to game. The second generation of the scouting network has also had a significant improvement with a full scout of a player giving a definitive overall and stats instead of just estimates. This means that a players statistical value is visible before enquiring so there is far less chance of overpaying for players this year too.Asking the board for extra money has also been changed so that it can only be requested twice per season in the two transfer windows as opposed to getting a few extra million whenever you want to negotiate contracts.A nice change in Fifa this year (in my opinion), is the injury system. I find top players getting injured far more often and while injuries can be turned off completely, I find myself always leaving them on for that injury crisis scenario that managers will always have to face.However...While I find myself enjoying this years game much more, there is one major problem. Referees. While EA and the Fifa development team say the same thing every year about the refs apparently 'improving', they actually seem to be getting worse! In just my first day of playing, this became obvious with crazy decisions going either in my favour or against me. Whether it was an obvious red card taking down the last man, or an obvious penalty taking out the man in the box and getting none of the ball, crucial decisions are just crazy in this game.To sum up, Fifa is the same old football game that we love with a massive library of leagues and teams. Always worth the £40 every year in my opinion and while putting up with just bad decisions can be difficult, I would never consider jumping ship to the PES counterpart and losing the familiar feeling of FIFA and the licenses they have to offer.

The most realistic FIFA so far
I had high expectations for FIFA 15. I watched the E3 trailer and it got me excited (a rare feat - I was only expecting 'more of the same' from FIFA). Having played the game for many hours now, some improvements are instantly noticable; the gameplay mechanics and the revamped tiled interface which makes navigation between windows more fluid and involving. The actual match - what I think it's all about - is much more realistic, even in the PS3's native 720p resolution. Graphics, especially textures, shadows and lighting, are excellent; the transitions which players make from one position to another is much smoother; ball control is acres more realistic (it's not simply glued to your feet, even on highly rated players); and a lot more body movement is displayed when players are off balance, receiving the ball, making tackles, shooting etc. which often makes it convincingly lifelike.Despite my previous FIFA game being '13, which I had played to death mostly on Career mode and Online Pro Clubs, it took me a surprisingly little amount of time to get to grips with '15. The one thing you will need to adapt to most is actually controlling your player/s and the ball on the pitch. There is no longer an invisible string tying the ball to your shoe. It's a lot easier to lose it by a touch or trick too many, which is of course the same in real life, and this makes build-up play more difficult. This makes knowing all your players' positions on the pitch more important, such as those making runs, as this new realism encourages team play and makes one-player penetration (or 'Zlatan/Ronaldo/Messi beats all') slightly more difficult to master. You'll still achieve a lot with pace, but as soon as you slow down a bit, you're being hassled and harried, especially if you're on the edge of the opposition's box. Also, changing formations at half-time makes a noticeable impact if you feel you are lacking in chances and creativity. The realism of the game is such that even the real-life strengths of each player can and should be considered. As a Chelsea fan, I can feel the strength of Costa, who plays like he does in real life with strength and clinical finishing. I can feel the athleticism of Ramires, who scored a brilliant header from a set piece, jumping high into the air towards the goal, and even collapsing on a few defenders in the process, sending them crashing to the ground (replays were excellent). I can feel the technical skill of Hazard, the pace of Willian and the long-leggedness of Matic, which makes it hard sometimes to control the ball when he is running. Also, emotions on the pitch are well portrayed and occur a lot during play. If a player shoots and it misses by a lot, he may hold his hand up in apology. If he misses by a margin or it hits the crossbar, or his shot was not a typical finish of his, he'll slap the ground, put his hands to his head or gesture in frustration. It's about as real as FIFA can currently make it, and I'm happy with that. The interface is similarly greatly improved and updated. Gone are the lists and instead there are windowed tiles for things like 'Team Management' which you can actually change without the game taking you to a different screen. Actually, this feature is a massive improvement. Your whole squad is displayed visually (like a proper team sheet) and it's easier and also more enjoyable to swap players and change formations. Basically, everything's more visual. Pressing R1 and L1 navigates the pages, such as 'Squad' or the 'Office' where you deal with transfers, messages from the Club and players, and your scouting network. It's all on one screen, navigation is generally quick, save for a tiny expected 1-2 second load-lag, but this openness really does away with all the clunkiness and frustration from traditional menus. Advancing the calender takes less time so you can quickly get to the next fixture. The only possible downside as yet found, is the transfer system, as you cannot sort players by criteria such as Acceleration, Stamina, Strength etc. I prefer this, as I'm not tempted to go for fast paced players. The new realism of the game also makes me more interested in players I know well from the Barclays Premier League, rather than 90+ acceleration players I've never heard of.Finally, commentary. This is important to me as it's like having someone in the room as you play. Unfortunately, instead of a complete update, only a few new (and often long-winded) comments are interwoven with a lot of the same comments from '13 (hence -1 star). This does not complement the fresh feel of the gameplay at all. I was hoping for more variations of commentary on a tackle, foul, shot - but I've heard it all before. Also, I was hoping the commentary might be more intelligent, and surprise me with some of the comments, such as naming a player running into space, as if compelling you to pass to them. In reality, commentary builds excitement and tension - here, it does nothing of the sort. It does not inspire me to play well, it merely describes. I hope in future FIFA will do a full revamp of the commentary system. Not likely in '15, though.FIFA 15 is a significant improvement over past FIFAs. Instead of merely adding a wealth of small and insignificant new features to gameplay, it really has been overhauled and completely updated. Even the soundtrack, which has some beautiful upbeat and melodious songs to help you relax, seems to sound a bit futuristic and even ethereal. As it stands, I'd rate the game 4.2/5, but with the potential to reach 4.5/5 with updates (currently on version 1.1).*Edit 12/10* - All what I've said remains true, but some things are getting a bit repetitively annoying:1. In Career at least, opposition make a high amount of slide tackles even when it's obvious you've beaten them with the ball. So expect a fair amount of silly fouls made against you.2. Commentary. It is becoming tiresome - same old Martin Tyler and Alan Smith with same comments you've heard time and time again. New ones I've noticed are mostly only formalities or just give some background information on a player or club.3. Doubtful on whether changing the style of play in-game e.g. from 'Balanced' to 'Ultra-Attacking' or even 'All-out Attack' really make much difference. I've not noticed more players making more runs or surging forward when in posession, for instance.4. Throw-ins. If the ball has run too far, the player still must run towards it, collect it, and run back. You have to wait about 10 seconds if you want the man behind to take it instead, as well.5. Players you want to buy on the Transfer Market will not have set ratings on any of their attributes, nor an 'Overall' rating, unless you have specifically asked your Scout to scout them. Does not allow for players like me who are not obsessed with all the reality of being a Manager. That's about it. As someone who only plays on 'Legendary' I probably get a bit more frustrated with these aspects of the game, but for me it's the most realistic difficulty setting. I hope this small list sheds a bit more light on the game.

Best FIFA Game Ever (Read Review)
By far the best FIFA game ever and trust me I have played all of them since FIFA 10.Graphics - 5/5 - Look absolutely amazing on PS4, tempted to just watch the cut scenes just to see the beautiful graphics.Gameplay - 4.5/5 - Its changed a lot imo. I think this year they have balanced realism and fun perfectly. Its realistic in almost every way but never forgets that its also a game! Build up is much faster than the slow paced FIFA 14. And dribbling especially is a treat. However defending as a result is very difficult and takes some getting used to.Presentation - 4.5/5 - They've got it all spot on. Especially the premier league. Although I wish they worked a bit more on diversifying the commentary.Game Modes - Havent played Ultimate Team properly since FIFA 13 and dont plan to this year simply because Im not a fan of the mode as much as Career mode, and also dont have that much time on my hands, but from the little that I have played it does seem much improved. Its a shame however that this years focus was Ultimate team, and its evident because not many changes have happened to career mode. Yet what I am pleased about is that they have fixed some of the things I disliked with previous versions. For example, player growth rates are much more realistic and older players don't drop as much. And gone are the days when you can offer much below a players value and get them (e.g. Hummels asking price is £60+ Million). Was disappointed however that despite Manchester United my favourite team having struggled in the past few seasons, they still have set a minimum target to 'win the league' because on World class its going to be a bit difficult (Especially with the defensiive learning curve). (Sorry for the grammar, that was so horrible in this paragraph that I can't even be bothered to fix it!)BTW all of the above is my opinion of the game. Others from what I know do agree with me, but don't bash me because you disagree. Doubt you will tho.Ordered directly from Amazon. They were great. Arrived early on release day, packaged brilliantly. Again 5 STARS for Amazon!Definitely BUY IT!

FIFA 15 - It's in the game...again!
Another year, another FIFA instalment. This is quite a significant one though because it's the first FIFA game which, on release day, was available for PS4 and XBOXone. This spells disaster ahead for PS3 and XBOX360 owners who are going to take to the internet to check out reviews for the 'last gen' version of the game. One thing you have to put aside in your mind is: No, the graphics are not as good as on PS4 and XBOXone; No, the level of detail is not as good either; and no, not all of the improvements (aesthetic or not) are as noticeable on the PS3 version of the game. Does this make it a bad game? No, it doesn't! Does this mean we should rush out and spend in excess of 300 Quid on a new console just to play a better-looking FIFA? No, it doesn't!FIFA 15 on the PS3 is a good game, no matter what anybody tells you. Graphically, the PS3 has almost (or already?) reached its potential, so there are no leaps in aesthetic quality from FIFA 14. A few little things have been added which become noticeable the more you play (player expressions, goalkeeper animations, etc.) but all in all in looks quite similar. Is this a bad thing? Well, it depends who you ask, but I personally thought FIFA 14 (and subsequently FIFA 15) looked very good, so you won't hear me complaining on this one!Gameplay-wise FIFA 15 feels more polished than its predecessor. I won't deny that FIFA 14 suffered from some rather unfair game mechanics which now and again made the outcome of situations on the field feel a little scripted and out of the players' hands. I would like to say this has been addressed in FIFA 15, or perhaps it just hasn't happened to me yet, either way it feels (until now) like an improvement, placing skill and tactical approach back into the players' hands in order to win games. The menu screens are navigable, that's all that needs to be said there. And the music, well, it's music; I don't really get it why many of the bad reviews for FIFA include rants about the music. Who cares?! They could have put a bloody George Formby medley on it for all I care, it's what goes on on the pitch that I want my value for money for. While the added improvements to the game are interesting and try to take us that one step closer to absolute realism (pitch deterioration, player facial expressions, etc.), they are rather benign in terms of how much it improves the game. This probably makes a bigger impact on the next gen consoles where the developers can play around with bigger graphical capacity. The PS3 version still looks very neat though with that ever present FIFA polish. All in all, I would recommend FIFA 15 to anyone who: 1) Likes FIFA (duh!), 2) was disappointed with FIFA 14 but is willing to give EA another chance, 3) is perhaps new to football games but wants to give one a try.I would deter the following people from buying the game: 1) People who hate FIFA (duh!), 2) people who buy FIFA every year and then moan about how terrible it is, berate EA for being a 'big evil money-grabbing corporation' and then threaten on online forums that they are going to trade in their copy 3 hours after buying it because it's such a steaming pile of....., 3) people with jobs, families or kids as all of those will have to be put on hold.In parting, I would say that paying full price for this game, if you already own FIFA 14 is a bit of a hard pill to swallow. The improvements are good and all, but you might feel the game is a little too familiar to justify full retail price. If you simply 'have to' have the new FIFA each year, then go ahead, you wont be disappointed as it is a better experience all round. If you're a huge fan of Pro Clubs, beware, EA has decided not to include it on this year's instalment of FIFA (I personally couldn't care less, but some people seem to have gotten a little bit touchy about this one).6/10 from me.Thanks for reading!PS: Please note that this review is primarily based on offline content of the game as I haven't gotten around to playing all that much online yet. If anyone has more experience of the online mode, feel free to leave a comment and let us know your thoughts.

Best one yet but can still be improved ;-)
I preordered this off Amazon being a massive football fan and supporting Arsenal so was looking forward to the licensed Barclay EPL theme which is not bad at all.The game arrived as promised on morning of release date, sealed and well packaged (never had problem with condition of goods sent by Amazon yet!The game is slightly faster at loading than Fifa 14 on PS4 and you don't have loud disc drive noise for as long as before which is good.Like the menu system employed in last 2 games - makes it all more compact and organised to navigate but can see how some people might get lost looking for various modes/features. The gameplay is great with more fluid motion and animations and improved player interaction/emotions but the main problem is that overall graphics are not really improved from previous fifa and that was an entrance title for new console with promises of major revamping for next edition which EA have again been lazy with, considering how much we hardworking people stump up every yr for new model.A lot of players (think only EPL ones?) have had their faces digitally copied and enhanced into the player models but there are still so many that have not been improved at all for last 2-3yrs, which again is bit lazy considering they are famous, international footy stars.Having said that mesut Ozil has finally been changed from his Real Madrid days to what he looks like now but Aaron Ramsey looks exactly the same as he prob did when he was 17 :-sOtherwise love fifa series, went to PES when I was in uni for 2-3 yrs but then that got very japanese and cheesy and FIFA overtook it globally. Not tried PES 15 which is said to have made major improvements but if you are footy mad and like playing it on console then £40-44 is worth spending on this Fifa. (Would be good to see/hear how it looks graphically on Xbox1 also ;-).

Hugely Enjoyable Game.
Really, I can only review this on the level of pleasure it gives my 8 year old son and I can safely say that it ticks all boxes on that level. We've had a PS3 for quite a few years now and have all FIFA editions available for that machine - including FIFA 15 - so the game itself isn't new. We got my son a PS4 at Christmas to replace that aging PS3 so I was interested to see what the Next Gen version of this game would be like. As FIFA is my son's favourite game it was the first PS4 game we purchased. The first thing I noticed was the menus, they all looked slicker. Once a game is started FIFA kicks into Sky Sports copycat mode, which is no bad thing, as it looks very professional. The game itself still doesn't look quite right to me with the players looking like they're either just floating above or skating along on the pitch. The animations such as taking corner kicks, etc look fantastic, even the grass looks real, and that is probably the biggest difference on the PS4. The crowds are more animated too.Not really going to talk about the different modes as I rarely play it and when I do I beat soundly beaten, but I will give this game five stars as it gives my son a lot of pleasure. He eats, sleeps and breaths the game. And, he can play for Coventry City. Then again, we'd all love to do that, wouldn't we?!

En perfecto CASTELLANO.
En perfecto CASTELLANO, voces y subtitulos, igual que la version española pero mas barata. Por ese dinero merece tener un juego de futbol en el armario.
