is this good for the disposal of epipens or other autoinjectors?

As always it depends on the size of objects you are disposing of, the medical pens I use are 160mm long and 20mm diameter and the first 3 or 4 went in easily but, then because the bin is getting shallower the angle for entry changes and this is what restricted me from filling it to the line but, at the time this was all I needed. I now use a larger bin given to me by my medication provider. I hope this is of some help.

How many syringes do they take. I need a box to take on holiday and need something that will hold 24 used syringes

It depends on the size of your syringe. I use these to give my cat his daily diabetic injections. The syringe is 1ml and i use 3 per day. I usually need a new sharps box by the last week of the month so i would estimate that the sharps box holds about 60 1 ml syringed including needles. Hope this helps?
