I changed my starting because it started out great but after a short time it stopped printing and was missing parts of the item I’d want to print ! Very frustrating!!! This is the third HP printer I’ve tried out now and it sucks! I wouldn’t recommend the brand at all the customer service is terrible no one speaks English they’re very rude too! Plus the whole instant ink program is a complete rip off and just so you know if you stop using the instant ink program your printer will be rendered useless you can’t go out and just buy your own cartridges I highly suggest you read the consumer comments on their FB page you’ll see it’s not just me having a whine ok as for connectivity it’s always dropping the WiFi connection. Noise wise it wasn’t too bad at all. As for appearance it looked good but made of cheap materials you can tell. So yep go check out other reviews and decide for yourself if you want to waste your money! 🤷‍♀️😊

It was so easy to set up and I did not have to even read the instructions. I put on a YouTube video for this printer to see exactly how to put the two cartridge in the machine. It was super simple. The Wi-Fi part of it was super simple also. I am very happy. The paper on the wall is my first paper that I printed out from my phone app. Great printer. I'm very happy and this price is wonderful and super easy to set up. I had zero problems with it. The machine is pretty solid also. All printers are plastic so you have to be careful, you can't just be rough with any printer that you buybfor the home. This was exactly what I wanted. I'm extremely happy. Thank you HP and Amazon for making this such a easy transaction for me.

this is a great little printer. But I bought it for binding fanfics. Yall I'm on day three and I'm only 3.5 signatures in. does not do double side print so I have to do it manually and you can't do groups of pages at once cause it will cut off in a middle of a page. So I am literally printing 200 pages one page at a time. Also it does not like to maintain wifi connection. I am currently writing this while I wait for connection again. Also I'm on my 3rd ink cart. Just spring for the $80 HP if you are doing fanfic. At this point I never want to read Breath mints and Battle scars ever again let alone bind it lol.

Printer works great. It's been couple of years since I bought it and no issues till now. Helped me save lot of $ printing my papers at stores. True to HP standards.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I would give zero stars if possible. You are not actually buying this printer when you pay for it. You're essentially just paying a rental deposit that you can't get back. In order to use this printer, you have to download the HP app, make an account, and register the printer to it. Then, HP will CHARGE YOU MONTHLY for a set amount of prints. You read that right: you have to continually pay HP to be able to use the printer for which you've already paid. The app also signs you up for auto-shipments of ink when your cartridge is running low. Which could conceivably be a convenient service, except that the printer isn't very good at telling when you need ink. If you don't use it for a week or two, the ink dries up and clogs inside the cartridge. But since the printer still detects ink in the cartridge, it will not send you any more. According to the app, you still have ink, even though it's completely unusable. So you may think, well, that's fine, I can just go to the store and buy more ink.Why, I can even buy a better and less expensive ink! ALAS, THIS IS MERELY AN ILLUSION OF FREEDOM! In actual fact, if you try to replace your cartridge without purchasing it through the app, YOUR PRINTER WILL SHUT DOWN AND NO LONGER BE OPERATIONAL. If you refuse to let HP hold onto your credit card and charge it every month, THEY WILL TAKE AWAY YOUR ACCESS TO THE PRODUCT THAT YOU BOUGHT AND OWN. I stopped using my printer ages ago because the cartridge dried up and I never recieved any replacements. When I stopped using it, I went into the app, deleted my account with them, and then deleted the app. Imagine my surprise when I recently discovered that HP has STILL been charging me $8 every month, despite the fact that I don't use the printer, they don't send me ink, and I DON'T EVEN HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM ANYMORE. If you're considering because you just need occasional printing, I highly recommend just going to the library instead. It will ultimately be cheaper, less of headache, and free from HP's duplicitous practices. It also has the upside of helping to fund all kinds of resources for your community. In an age where everything is becoming subscription-based, I prithee, don't make it easy for these companies. You should never, ever pay to own something to which you don't control your own access. Stop making this kind of embezzlement profitable for businesses. Always remember, piracy isn't theft if purchase doesn't grant ownership.

Great printer for the price.

I've used this printer for a year before writing this review. The positives are it is inexpensive and the print quality is good. On the other hand, it is VERY quirky. Do not rely on it for last minute printing. It will print, eventually. But it may take over an hour of repetitious problem-solving, restarting, fussing, coaxing, and crying. If you're not in a hurry, it's a great deal for the money. But if you need to print off your last-minute term paper, have a backup plan. The same goes for the HP Smart app, which you need for the printer to work. If you check ink levels 3 times, you will get 3 different readings. If you need ink and have the Insta Ink program, it is a cumbersome, tiresome process just to get to the Order Ink page if it forgets to send ink automatically. In sum, for casual, infrequent, non-hurried use, it's fine.

I have never had a bad experience HP products, and this printer is no exception. HP Instant Ink is an added bonus that made my choice simple. The fact that I got 15 months (up to 700 pages) free was certainly a welcome surprise. The printer was easy to install, easy to use and print quality is great. I haven't tried it for photos, but I didn't buy it for that either so as far as I'm concerned it was well worth the price (which is reasonable). I highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for a simple, quality printer for home.

Worst printer ever! At first seems great, everytjing is through online and internet and still easy to put together to make it work but you need to enroll to HP instant ink to make it work otherwise it won't. For 6$ ish / month it ask you to enroll to it so when ever your ink is liw you get bew ones but mail we did but then, we don't use the peinter much "to not say pratically never" andcright sway cartriges was sent to us as the same week we pluged the printer. But since we hafmd new ones plus the cartriges to replace when needed, we canceled the subscription. 1- the charged us an extra month after the month of cancellation. So if you cancel on june first 10th for ex. your subscription will end only in August and july you'll still be charged. 2- when you enroll to it, you have 50 copies you can print out with your cartriges. So the machine calculates it and you can see it through the app abd this is how the SCAM starts. It calculste that maximum 2-3 months of use then the printer/the app/by emsail HO tells you you're liw in ink and need to replace them. We printed 7 times withe the printer because we were out of the country for a little while snd the printer would print so clear thst you believe it. I did a HP test print and the print was so colofill like new cartriges but everytime we tried to orint sn Amazon return i we couldn't use it. So we haf to put the new one. 3- as soon as the cancellation took place, we got an email from HP saying that our subscrition was done but then, another email the sameday saying our ink was low and couldn't print. No subscription = no use of the print. 4- when i mentioned that it calculates i forgot to mentioned that 59 copies is tbe subscription and not per cartriges because we are at 14 copies(apparently) counting the ones we tried to test but sfter putting the new cartriges it keeps adding on the 50 copues plan don't want to kniw what is next. Now Since the cancellation took place on the instant Ink (june 21st 2024) tje printer doesnt work at all, it tells us we can't print, the lights are blinking, the digitalscreen display is buzzing it AGAIN also says no ink, can't reset it factury mode or reinstall the software and HP support is not reachable at all by phone (they have a message and its cuting off when it says we sre transferring you or it ssys our phone line for tech support is having an issue to try online instead) and the chat takes for ever so i gave up after 1hr trying. BIG SCAM and hope to get my money back now i got a brad new printer and can't use it.

As USUALLY this HP wireless printer scanner always delivers! As advertised it stated there were only 3 months of free ink, and to my SUPRISE... HP I MUDT THANK YOU FOR SENDING ME 6 SIX FREE MONTHS OF INK! WHAT A GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT! I hadn't realized it until initial setup! But folk's, for years now and running a business; ive tried several different brands of Printer-Scanners, but ALWAYS COME BACK TO HP for all my printing needs!
