Why is this so grossly over priced?

This set has not been produced by Lego for several years, so there is a very limited number of unopened sets - thus the price goes up.

how about box condition??

That's the one bad thing about this set, along with the 10240 UCS Xwing fighter. It doesn't come with an inner box like lego sets in the past have always come with, except for the real small sets, and at around 2,500 pieces, this definately isn't a small set, and Lego should have included an inner box with this set like they have always done in the past.
