Dog Car Barrier for SUV Trunk Cargo Area, Foldable & Adjustable Car Divider and Cargo Gate to Keep Dogs in Back (Patent Design)

Purchased this after trying 2 other types from PetSmart that had adjustable vertical bars. The ones with the vertical bar didn't work in my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport because the distance between the floor (trunk area) and the ceiling is shorter than the lowest height on the bars by around 2-3". This barrier is perfect. It adjusts side to side and attaches to the headrest bars with a bungee cord. It took 10 minutes to open the box and install the barrier. Some reviews mentioned noise/rattle, but I don't experience that rattling. My dog (a Goldendoodle) gets anxious in crates when he's alone, and he did get a little anxious his first time behind these bars (lol). However, he was unable to get free. (He tried to chew the bar on one side. To try and squeeze by, I imagine.) He can no longer jump over the seats to sit in the driver's chair! I give 5 stars for easy installation, being very sturdy and secure, fit, quality, and price. The bag it comes with will be very useful when I need to take them down and store them.

It is really easy to install, took me only 10min tops, to install it. Really simple, and I thought it was quite sturdy and well made for a lightweight temporary barrier I even pulled it out and put it in my sisters sedan, as she wanted to see if it fitted. So far my girls haven't tried to escape, but are still trying to give me directions to the beach! The only down side is it is difficult to move seats once installed, but that is not a biggie

We have a dog that barks like a lunatic in the car and jumps over the backseat, which is so dangerous. We have installed two of these one in each car. They are fairly easy to remove if needed, but they fit perfectly in our two SUVs. Very sturdy good quality.
