Do the 5-gallon bags have a pleated bottom like the 1-gallon bags do? As shown in 1-gal product image.

Hi, The 5 Gallon mylar bags do not have a gusset bottom as the 1 gallon mylar bags. They are so large that once filled it will stand up automatically. Also, they are used for the 5 gallon buckets and having such bottom would make it difficult for the bag to properly fit such buckets. Hope it helps Thank you for the question

These bags are designed to store foods for a long term period, it shouldn't be used to cook or heat dehydrated food.

Can you seal this 1 quart mylar bag with iron & ironing board?

Iron yes. Ironing board not really. need a hard surface to rest other side of bag on. Soft ironing board will not be great to use. Get a piece of wood to put on the ironing board.

The package states qty of 30. My order only had 29 why?

All I can assume is that someone screwed up their counting or if machines do it.... slight malfunction?🤷🤷🤷
