Item is well designed and performs flawlessly.

A great tool for crimping pull through RJ45 plugs, it cuts the ends perfectly and gives a good crimp. On RJ11, it crimps well, but does not cut the wire. Very durable and definitely a good choice.

Has a comfortable ergonomic design, and a solid feel. All crimps so far are well formed. Decent price point.

No way to adjust blade. Also,Maybe the pass through connectors and cable I was using was not compatible but these crimpers would not properly crimp the connectors, I had to go back over every crimp with a standard set of RJ45 crimpers so the wires would make connection internally with the plug. It got so bad I had to start pre making cables and tresting before every drop so I wasn't chasing connectivity issues. This caused excess cable usage and having to drill larger holes in top plates,then filling with foam.

It crimps, strips, and trims pass through fittings $15 same as a $50+ crimper. If it breaks oh well it was $15.

First use and the crimper would not cut the wires off the rj45. I tried to adjust the blade, but there is no adjustment to make.

I Pitted this against my older Pass through Crimping tool. And it was surprising, This won out.. Seriously. When I got introduced to the art of creating ethernet cables it was always hit or miss, I would always have to test my cables (I still do out of habit and still find a miss wire from time to time. which is super rare) The best part of the Pass through it is ensures that your cable is inside the connector allowing for longevity. I have so many cables that have the wires exposed thanks to not being able to get it short enough to push it all into the back of the cable. This is a very well designed crimper this helps make sure your cables are tight and (unless you're like me) Right the first time. A few details before I wrap up my pros and cons on this. It has a nice quick release if you accidentally get something stuck in the device somewhere.. One click and the ratchet is released. Not only can you do Ethernet (RJ45) ends you can also do Telephone (RJ11) ends. You can strip Round as well as flat cables (I'm terrible with flat so I stick with round) And just straight up cut off the ends. The extra length on the handle allows you to really grip if you need. It also comes with other blades but they are very easy to change out with a screw driver. It also includes a wire stripper has also a built in punch down tool.. Pros: Comfortable Quick release ratchet Can also strip Flat cable actually cuts off the end of the Ethernet cable when crimping Cons: its heavier so might make hand tired faster if you're doing lots of ends. (might) Would have been nice to have built in storage for extra blades.

It doesn't work well with normal connectors (only the through ones). I thought it was much better and that it would replace my old pliers, however I realized that I can only use it with the other connector.
