BF04 Tanklock Tank Ring

I have no doubts in the quality of this item as my dad owns the 15L x-stream of which he uses on his triumph mounted using one of the Givi mounts. I intended to borrow the tank bag for a trip, so after some fruitless research on the compatibility with my bike I took a punt and purchased this tank mount. I own a first gen z1000 (03-05) and I can confirm it is not compatible with this bike. The fuel cap will not open with it mounted. No odds to me as I took a gamble on it, hopefully this review may help others who also own slightly older Kawasaki’s not to make the same error!

Givi website, along with a local Kawasaki dealer and a local Yamaha dealer confidently state the tank locking flange needed to fix the tank bag fixing ring to the bike is not available for a GTR1400. Oh yes it is, its this one and fits perfectly.

BE CAREFUL - It's literally just the adaptor, not both as stated in the item picture. Feeling ripped off, considering returning it out of principle if nothing else.

Cheaper than the bike shops and delivery time great, fitted straight on the tank with easy to read diagram.

Got this BF04 for my Kawasaki Versys 650 2007 fits perfectly so the 1000cc and 650cc the same no matter the year safe biking

Incredibly easy to install & getting the Givi bag on and off this is an absolute doddle.
