They do not work-update
Update-this company has great customer service! They refunded my purchase because I didn’t have a good experience with this product. Good customer service goes along way in my opinion so I gave a better review.These don’t work. I’m still having to clean mineral build up out of my humidifier like always. After one didn’t work, we tried a couple. Then my husband dumped the whole batch in and still nothing.

Just bought a humidifier that uses these, this purchase was a great value.

No luck with getting rid of the white dust.
There has been no difference in the white dust in the house since dropping (2) filters into a one gallon humidifier a week ago. It is everywhere and I am dusting every other day. The white dust is everywhere and is causing repeated upper respiratory irritation and infection. Very disappointed. And we have a water softening system in the house, and also clean the humidifiers weekly with a touch of white vinegar. Will research other options.

Work well, with a twist
These work great if we put a couple of them in a pitcher of water for 8 or so hours and then fill the humidifier from the pitcher.

Not sure about these
I use these in my cool mist humidifier. I have added multiple units. I can't say I have noticed a difference in the amount of minerals being disapated in the water. Still a lot of "white dust" residue.Adding to my review. Received an email from sender offering to refund the purchase price. I was surprised and accepted their offer. However, they wanted pictures of the type of humidifier I was using to check for product incompatibility- understandable. They also wanted pictures of the white residue which I could not provide as I had already cleaned all the surfaces. I have changed to a liquid product (not available on Amazon) which seems to be working and I am not willing to drain the humidifier and recreate the white dust residue. I shared that this was too much to do for the small amount of the refund. I informed them that I decline the offer. Nice gesture, too much work.
