I tested both cords for continuity, and there was none. can the seller explain? or, another customer? what am i missing?

There's an instruction insert sent with every wrist strap on how to properly test. These are all tested before they are sent out so testing is not required but if you want to see voltage removal you need to use a multi meter. There's a resistor in these to prevent harm due to a back flow of voltage from a power surge or lightning strike. What are the Ohms of this? 1 or 100?

It is a 100K Ohm resistor if you are reading 1 then your multimeter doesn't read low enough. Sometimes you can adjust the settings and it will move the decimal for you

Is there a safety resister built into the cord?

No there is not. You will want to buy a tester to check if the outlet you will be plugging into is properly grounded. I found one on Amazon for approx $7. As long as your outlet checks out it doesn't need a resistor built into it.

Can you use them in a portable infrared sauna to lower the emp?

As long as you can plug the cord into a proper ground it should be fine
