Top Class
The only realistic option if you want this specific volume wheel control which I use dozens of times per day. Easy to replace most keys with custom ones. The browns are great for gaming (FPS/Racing/Party Games) and typing (140WPM+).

I have never used a nice keyboard such as this one
Honestly, I have never used a nice keyboard such as this one. This may perhaps be the nicest keyboard I have ever used in my entire life. The comfort you get when you type. I bought the black/blank keycaps and so far it is a joy to use. I am still trying to get used to it, having a Macbook, it is not so easy especially when you use shortcut keys. Delivery was quite fast considering that it was shipped from Germany and that I thought I would have it the following week, I was surprised it came 4 days earlier! AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY NEW KEYBOARD. :)

This keyboard really is good quality. Great to type on
This keyboard really is good quality. Great to type on, and feels really solid. My only problem is the price. I don't understand why it costs £30 more just to have blank keys :-(

The best keyboard I have ever had
The best keyboard I have ever had. I have used it for 2 years now and it is like new. If you're like me - spending hours typing, writing, coding - it's worth the cost and it will last longer than your computer. I don't think anyone expects a disruptive innovation in the field of keyboards so that's the only hardware which you can expect to keep for 10 years or more. The ultimate layout (all keys are black) is amazing and totally unique. It takes a little bit of time to get used to it because you have to know all the keys by heart (including the special characters).

Solid professional keyboard
The fact it doesn't have labels helps typing quicker and the high quality of this product just makes the whole process enjoyable.

It completes me
I love it, if you are on the fence about the no key caps, do it.

Not as advertised.
This is listed as the Ultimate variant with blank keycaps and EU layout. However, I received the Professional variant with the American layout. The actual keyboard itself is fantastic quality and would've been perfect had it not been the wrong version/layout.

Brilliant keyboard.
I would run into a burning building to save this keyboard.

No obstante, yo no he conseguido adaptarme a este teclado.

Since I bought my first "Das Keyboard 4" there is no way back for me. All other keyboards are now retired/dumped and replaced by Das Keyboard. I really love this model. A version without inscriptions on buttons looks especially cool but requires touch typing skill. As a bonus it also forces you to train such as skill and ultimately results in typing speed up. Besides that: the feel of typing itself is something special, you don't get this kind of tactile response from a regular keyboard. Using that model for many years and never had a desire to replace it and going stick to it as long as possible.

I purchased the Das 4 ultimate with cherry mx brown switches. Pros : Very quiet typing, exactly what I need. Heavy overall frame, the detachable footbar keeps it stable and the keyboard will not move around while I type. Keycaps are nicely textured and it's enjoyable to type on. Very nice design overall. Cons : Blue indicator leds for capslock, num lock etc. Keyboard companies need to stop doing this. Blue is the absolute worst colour to have as an indicator as it will always distract you if in your field of vision. My advice is to use a piece of electrical tape to cover these. A sleep key on the keyboard beside the media keys. Makes absolutely no sense, if I need to sleep my computer I can do that quickly many other ways. Thankfully windows lets you rebind what sleep keys do in control panel under power options, so I've changed it into a "turn off monitor" key, but you can also make it do nothing at all. The footbar that raises the keyboard at an angle doesn't do it by much. It's not bad, but it's not great either. Overall, it's a nice keyboard. But is it €120-€150 nice? No. It's clear some thought went into the design, but overall you can do better if you're spending this kind of money.
