Kdf-55 or kdf-85? and how many pounds of kdf media inside?

I do not know. It is heavy. But I can tell that I return this particular filter, because it blocks water flow, which dropped from 55 to 25.

Will this filter, filter out iron?

I don't think so, or maybe a minimum only. For iron, you have to use a softener system.

Does this filter chloramines?

Hi Scott, Chloramines are a combination of chlorine and ammonia. This filter can get rid of the chlorine but the remaining ammonia can be filtered if you will add a reverse osmosis system.
