Good quality well packaged, eaay to use and trim precisely. Alot lighter and to use than the anvil pruner. I already have the 5m pole. Easily interchangeable between the 3m pole and the 5m pole. Bought from this seller directly previously and also have the pruning which is very large and razor sharp

Ordered but didn't realise it was just the cutting head without extension pole, my mistake so returned unused. Looked strong quality but was also quite heavy so would probably have been too heavy for me to use comfortably.

The only downside to this pruner for me, is not buying one earlier, it’s an absolute game changer, so easy to use and no ladders required. Can’t recommend enough. Cuts like a dream, does exactly as described, great value for money, good quality and design and lighter than I expected.

Well constructed. Very sharp blade easily cuts through small branches. The only downside is the weight when attached to the extension pole. It's quite heavy if you're using it for more than a few minutes.

Ordered to fit my 'Darlac' extending pole. The pruner is good at its job but one of the plastic clips that hold the cord close to the pole broke the first time I attached it. I contacted Darlac (with a photo of the broken part) , and despite extensive claims about design excellence and guarantees, rather than simply replace it, they insisted I send the whole thing back to Amazon for a refund. So the pruner and pole are fine (except the broken clip) but Darlac's customer support needs strengthening (as does the clip!). Based on this experience, I won't be buying Darlac tools again.

Absolutely razor sharp, will cut through 3cm branches. Used with 5m Darlac pole.

Unparalleled reach, and so far not come across a branch it can’t cope with at max reach.

As a professional gardener I'm always on the lookout for good quality tools that will make my life easier. The heavier duty Darlac tools have been excellent, and this geared bypass tree pruner is the perfect attachment for my pro pole. While the anvil version is great for heavy cutting of thicker branches, this is much better for whippy growth like apple shoots and Wisteria tendrils.There are heavier duty tools around for people who can't look after things, but for careful tool users the Darlac range will be ideal.
