BRUGO 2nd Generation Leakproof Travel Mug with Built-in Temperature Control Chamber, Passion Purple

I bought this mug for my husband because he said he wanted a really nice travel mug. He absolutely loves it! It keeps coffee hot for hours. The tip and sip feature takes some getting used to, but you don't have to use that feature if you don't want to, so it's great that it gives you the option. It is leakproof, but not when there is coffee in the tip and sip chamber. If there is liquid in the chamber it will come out of the top if you were to tip it over. Other than that it is a great mug and I am very happy I bought it!

I ordered this mug and then read reviews and thought I would regret it. Nope, works great. First, it actually does hold 16oz of liquid. Some reviews stated that it's much smaller than 16ozs. Perhaps that was for the first generation mug, but the version that I have in my possession absolutely does hold 16ozs. The "tip&cool" feature is a little awkward but works as stated. I use public transportation daily and I like to drink my coffee on the bus. It's not unusual for bus drivers to brake without warning, and if I'm using a traditional to-go-mug that means I get a mouthful/lapfup of scalding coffee. This mug completely erases that problem. When on the tip&cool setting, you only get the coffee that's been cooling. No more burned mouth. It's not a lot of coffee, but that doesn't bother me. You do have to tip it quite a ways to fill the reservoir (cue weird glances from fellow bus-riders) but hey, it works. Does it keep coffee hot? No better or worse than any other mug I've ever used. I filled it with scalding coffee and my drink was still warm three hours later. Not hot, but not icky lukewarm either. And frankly, being able to drink the coffee as soon as it's brewed usually means there's no coffee left after three hours to be lukewarm. If you're looking for super insulating, look elsewhere but for the typical commuter coffee drinker, this is just fine. Cleaning it hasn't been a issue. Hot water does the trick. Not dishwasher safe, but we don't have a dishwasher so that's not a significant issue for me. Also, it's as leak proof as any other "leak proof" mug. I was able to throw a half-full mug in my tote with moisture sensitive things like my phone and head home from work without any real concern and nothing leaked. Before you do this, make sure there isn't any coffee in the cooling chamber. The cooling chamber is NOT leak proof. I would recommend this mug to anyone who asks about it. However, my boyfriend is also an avid coffee drinker and he thinks this mug is the dumbest thing on the planet, but to each their own. Why four stars? The color isn't "mist" as shown. "mist" is far more smoky dark blue. I still get compliments on it, but I'm much more of a "mist" girl. Love this mug, definitely considering getting another one in another color.

This is a rather pricey mug that claims to protect your tongue from burning after you fill it with a hot beverage. After you prepare your brew, screw the cap on thus locking it. There are three select-able/twist-able positions on the top of the mug; LOCK, TIP&SIP, and SIP. The idea is to tip the mug which will release a limited supply in the outer core for cooling. The only dependable method that I have found is to prefill the outer core initially before tightening the top. Tilting is only effective when it is at least two-thirds full. The tilting is done "blind", so it is "trial and error". You do drink the contents faster, though. After two hours, the contents are tepid to cold. It is a good looking mug that I probably should not have purchased.

The product arrived as described and shipping was very fast even close to the Holidays when I finally found this mug which was exactly what I was looking for as a gift to my DIL. It is a very pretty color of purple, her favorite, and the design of the mug upon inspection appears to be of substantial quality. If in use the mug proves to be completely spill proof as guaranteed, then we could not be happier with our purchase from this Seller.

1. It only holds 10 oz. 2. The chamber only holds a small sip and requires a few good flips. Not worth it. 3. Does not keep drink warm very long, even compared to my no name former travel mug. 4. The twist top is not easy to work with one hand. 5. The drink area is awkward. 6. I took it to a coffee shop to have it filled. They said, yeah, we stopped selling them. 7. Hard to clean top. The only good thing is it looks nice. Nice color. I think online reviewers got a lot of kickbacks to recommend this thing.

the thing leaks and is not travel worthy, plus it does not keep stuff hot for long... getting this is a waste... get a Thermos brand instead.

I really like this travel mug. On Amazon it says 100% leak-proof, on the packaging the travel mug comes in it says "not leak-proof". I found that if you don't over fill the mug and you close/lock it properly, it doesn't leak. My coffee stayed hot for a quite a while and the PTZ was a neat feature. The only problem I have with the mug is that it just doesn't hold enough coffee. It says it holds 16 oz but my old mug held 16 oz and this one is about 4 oz short.

I bought this mug for my girlfriend who is an avid coffee drinker. She LOVES it. She can't stop raving about it. She won't leave for work without it. It does exactly what it clams to do: keeps your drink at the PERFECT temperature. She also appreciates that it comes in a variety of colors...I'll probably be picking up another for her at some point.

Also man ist ja bemüht beim Kauf eines solchen Bechers vorher auch mal ein paar Rezensionen zu lesen. Da spalteten sich die Lager aber auf. Die einen sagten, voll gut, die anderen sagten, das Ding taugt nichts. Ich muss sagen nach knappen 3 Monaten Dauereinsatz hat sich der Brugo bewährt. Wenn man den Verschlussmechanismus erkannt hat und nach dem Befüllen immer den Überschuss an Heißgetränk aus dem Deckel wegtrinkt oder ausschüttet kann da nix mehr tropfen oder lecken. Von mir 5 Steren...top Gerät für nen Zwanni.

Este producto cumple su funcion, que es la de mantener el liquido caliente sin que este se salga del recipiente. Pero tiene una pega. Este producto no es recomendado para usar y guardar en viajes. Me explico el producto tiene un estupendo sistema, tu bebes lo que quieres y luego lo cierras, pero si usted bebe y cierra el termo, el sistema de cerrado genera una capsula donde se almacena líquido que puede derramarse si el termo se pone en posición bocabajo. es decir que el cierre no se realiza en la misma salida del líquido si no que un poco mas abajo. La cantidad de líquido es mínima, pero puede ser un fastidio si su misión es para viajes. Otra cosa a destacar es que es totalmente de plástico, aunque vuelvo a explicar que mantiene aceptablemente el calor. Espero que la explicación sea de utilidad para el consumidor.

Este termo es el mejor con diferencia de tods los que he tenido. Aguanta hasta 4 horas caliente cualquier líquido. Además de que no derrama ni una sola gota.

Ich hab ja wirklich lang überlegt ob ich ihn mir kaufen soll oder nicht, weil die Meinungen hier ja stark auseinander gehen. Habe mich dann doch dafür entschieden und bin glücklich! Als erstes muss ich sagen, der Becher wenn kommt, ist er schon wirklich sehr schön verpackt und er sieht auch Hammer aus! Anfangs hab ich ehrlich gesagt nicht kapiert wie das geht und hab auch lange probiert (mit meinem Freund gemeinsam) bis ich den Dreh dann raus hatte. Der Brugo hält den Tee wirklich lang genug warm und das allerbeste ist, er ist absolut und zu 100% dicht! (Bei mir zumindest). Ich kann den Becher wirklich nur weiterempfehlen und rate euch nicht zu zögern!
