Dorhui Exposure Unit for Screen Printing, 25W LED UV Screen Printing Exposure Light for Screen Printing Kit, Photo Emulsion and Cyanotypes

Easy to assemble, did a great job creating screens for tshirt screen printing.

I'm using this expose cyanotype emulsion. It works well for that. It feels pretty flimsy though, not sure how long this light will last. Can't complain for now though, especially for the price.

I ordered this after I saw the Speedball 's similar product .(because this one was cheaper). As you see, it is small and looked easy to set up. I have a black coffee table, so I placed my screen and printed transparency on it, then set the light approx 16" above, switched on, waited for 7 minutes, then it burned the screen successfully. The problem was no instruction came with this product, so I had to look for the information of the height and time to burn screen by myself. I have read all reviews on this page , but some said didn't work at all, some said it took for seconds, some said took 7-8 minutes, and nobody mentioned the height to set up the light, (very confused) Then I've found the chart on the Speedball 's product page on Amazon and used the chart. I should have bought the one with stand because oneday I hung the light over the screen and a glass cover, then the light slipped and dropped on the glass, broke the glass! I hung the light using the product "Cell phone clip holder clamp mount flexible 360 degree rotation, long arm bracket for 3.5-6.5" phones" I thought I could use that cell phone holder with arm for hanging this light. But not secure. Anyway the light works, see the photos of my screen and print.

Extremely well priced. It's not the most amazing build quality, but I don't think you need it to be if you're just exposing some screens casually as a DIY screen printer. It exposed at 16"x16" design at 12" away for 12 seconds and the art turned out great. I could have used even less time for the exposure. Saves a lot of time over a BBA Photoflood incandescent bulb. This is a great upgrade.

The light itself works as it should I have no complaints there. Where I have an issue with it is the bracket that holds the light. You would think because it’s holding a light that the bracket would be secure but the only thing that’s holding it in is some ribbed rubber and a not so strong spring clamp. I was able to fix this with some spare wood I had that I cut and some bolts and nuts that I had already to hold the light in place so I can tilt it all the way down now like I need. Overall I’d say it’s a good light, but you might have to do some work to the bracket to make it secure.

Bought this for Cyanotype printing - works perfectly for what I need. I cut out a hole in the top of a cardboard box and just stick this on top- strength is good. Creates pretty and well exposed prints.

Great lamp. Perfect size for a large desk area. Very sturdy.

I realize this unit was inexpensive and advertised as easy to assemble; however, as no instructions were included. I cannot see how the light is attached to the unit. It appears it should just snap into the holder; the so-called holder does not secure the light. Very frustrating. I am a couple days past the return date; I tried to contact the vender- no response. I will call Amazon and see if they might accept a return.

Flimsy and hard to aim properly.

The stand and assembly is super flimsy, but for the price I was ok with it. But then today, maybe the 7th time using it, it stopped working and no longer turns on. It has been less than a month and I am returning it. I'll be looking for another product.
