Yes, it's plastic with a chrome finish.

What diameter hole is required

It must be 4cm for a perfect fit. this product fits my toilet nicely.

I have a wirquin jollyfill system and i need to replace this push button. can anyone advise on how i remove the old button to replace with this one?

To unhook it from the cable, press the red plug on the base of the button, then unscrew the gray nut that holds it on the lid of the tank and proceed to place the new one in the same way.

I'm wondering if this will fit onto the cable apparatus on my Shires cistern?

All of my flush system was wirquin make.so don't know if it will fit yours
