Great soap

This soap is really gentle and leaves your skin and hair very soft. I bought this primarily as a friend had recommended it as a good daily soap that you could use to wash a beard. It does this very gently and leaves the beard very soft. clean and tangle free. I noticed after using this thou, that my skin was a lot softer and I did not get ant dry skin any more, and I have now started using it for my whole body. I may have a look at the shampoo and conditioner that Kirks make, as I have been so impressed with this product. I am not saying this product is for everyone, as I would imagine its very dependent on your skin type, but definitely works for me :)

excellent soap !

I've been using Kirk's Castile Soap for about 3 weeks now and I'm really impressed. I was looking for something more natural without all the harsh chemicals, and this definitely fits the bill. What I love: Super gentle on my skin - I have sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate at all The ingredient list is clean - just coconut oil based, no weird additives or synthetic fragrances Works up a nice lather despite being natural (some natural soaps barely foam) Doesn't leave that weird film some castile soaps do Great value for the price - the 4oz bar lasts surprisingly long Versatile - I've used it as body soap and hand soap, works great for both Scent: It has a very mild, slightly coconutty smell - nothing overpowering. If you're sensitive to fragrances, this is perfect. It's basically unscented. Skin feel: Leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped or dried out. I don't feel like I NEED to moisturize immediately after like with some harsher soaps. The only tiny thing is the packaging may vary (as mentioned), but that doesn't affect the actual product quality at all. Overall, if you're looking for a simple, effective, natural soap that actually works, I highly recommend giving this a try. It's become my go-to daily soap!

Horrible. Burns the skin

After using this soap, my skin felt drier than it ever has after a shower—even more than when I use a basic, store-bought shower gel. With all the claims about purity, organic ingredients, and being gentle on sensitive skin, I really expected something different. But honestly, it felt just like any other soap. Nothing special, nothing extra nourishing—just a regular bar that left my skin craving moisture.

I have purchased these twice now and I think they are the best bar soap I have ever used. With regular city tap water in the shower it makes lots of soap suds. I also use this in place of shaving cream and as shampoo too. The bars are not very thick but feel wide in my hand, they feel soft in the hand and comfortable to use. This soap is essentially unscented unless you touch it to your nose and inhale deeply. They also seem to wear down faster than most soap bars, but I like that I like a variety of soaps so the faster they wear down the quicker I can open another type. If I had to purchase these again would I? Yes, I have already. Summary: The bar feels wide and soft in the hand, lots of lather in regular city water, great for shampooing hair and use as a shaving cream. Comes very close to being unscented.

Affordable, simple and always reliable self care option for anyone who is looking for an all natural bar soap that is gentle, safe, and unscented. All skin types and nearly any age person should be able to use this with no issues. A castile soap with coconut oil means it rinses off nicely. It’s moisturizing and still effective for cleaning your body-head to toe! Give it a try if you’re even considering it.
