Why Roberts sell a "sports" radio without any kind of cover or case that you can clip on your clothes somewhere is beyond me. Who wants to have to carry it everywhere in your hand or stuff it in a pocket with your loose change? Thankfully though, I found one of these cases on here that's custom made for that model of radio & does the job perfectly. It's well made, fits exactly, gives more than adequate protection, does exactly what they say it does & in my opinion anyway, is excellent value. I only use it clipped to my belt but, the way the clip itself is mounted on the case, it could be attached at any angle & the radio will naturally sit vertically. The clip's also removable (you have to push a button on it so it's not going to come off by accident) so the radio & case will still fit in a shirt pocket. I'm very happy indeed with the case & I suspect if Roberts did include one with the radio, it wouldn't be as good as this one - or if it was, the radio itself would be considerably more expensive to buy. Almost forgot - it also comes with a little stick on screen protector to prevent the display getting scratched.

Excellent case, didn’t think I’d be able to get a dedicated case for my Roberts DAB radio , so I was well pleased when I found this. Fits really well, good protection for the radio when out walking, looks good.

Does the job

Fits really well, seems sturdy enough to protect from a fair impact, and so far has proved durable and still looks like new. Really pleased!

Good well made product. However, I would have put the fastening stud on the front of the case. Putting it round the back means that the case can't be opened without removing the clipped radio from your belt. You have to do this if you want to change stations using the presets. Also the clip was useless and supplied is transparent plastic, not black as iluustrated. It could not be locked in place and easily became detached.

Wanted a case for a Pure personal radio , but can’t find any , so this was close and was able to adapt it to fit , it is very well made , strong and keeps the radio well protected from weather !, Was delivered on time and wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again!!

Ich habe die Schutzhülle seit 5 Monaten in Gebrauch. Sehr gute Qualität, sehr stabil und äußerst passgenau für das Radio von Sangean (DPR-39) und das baugleiche von Roberts.

Ich habe mir diese Tasche zu dem Sangean DPR-39 Pocketradio gekauft, da ich unbedingt einen Clip zur Befestigung am Gürtel suchte. Ich verwende das Radio fast ausschließlich beim Fahrradfahren und im Sommer ohne Jacke muss das Gerät ja irgendwo hin. Die Tasche selbst ist gut verarbeitet und das Radio passt optimal hinein, so dass alle Bedienteile zunächst zugänglich bleiben. Eine vordere steife Schutzklappe wird nach Inbetriebnahme hinten mit einem Druckknopf verschlossen. Das Gewicht der Tasche inkl. Gürtelclip liegt bei ca. 70 g. Danach hat das Radio aber optisch bereits einen Teil seiner noch angemessen zierlichen Größe, besonders was die Dicke angeht, verloren! Die Tiefe beträgt dann ca. 3,4 cm wenn man den Druckknopf partiell mitrechnet fast 4 cm. Nur zum Schutz hätte ich mir die Tasche daher nicht gekauft. Mit dem mitgelieferten Clip, auf den es mir persönlich besonders ankommt, kommen dann noch einmal 2 cm in der Tiefe hinzu. Er wird an einem Metallpilzkopf eingehakt und soll durch Federkraft festgehalten werden. Leider ist aber zwischen der Führung für den Pilzkopf und Widerhaken der Spalt zu groß, so dass man beim Hantieren leicht das Radio komplett mit Hülle in der Hand hat, der Clip aber noch am Gürtel steckt. Das ist eine echte Fehlkonstruktion! Ich habe den Clip daher mit Gewebeband so fixiert, dass er nicht mehr rausrutschen kann. Konstruktionsbedingt durch den Clip hängt das Radio aber auch nicht eng, sondern mit etwas Abstand an der Seite am Gürtel. Das führt dazu, dass ein Sweatshirt oder eine Jacke die über dem Radio getragen wird bei Bewegung an diesem leicht zerren. Eine engere Körperführung wäre vorteilhafter. Zum Vergleich dazu: Mein altes Philips GoGear Ariaz Pocketradio (zugegeben, das war auch von sich aus schon kleiner) hatte ich in einer Schutzhülle mit fester, eng anliegender Klammer auf der Rückseite, das fiel überhaupt nicht ins Gewicht. Mangels Alternative bin ich also hin und her gerissen.
