Can this yarn be used for crochet projects?

I do not crochet myself but I do not see why not as it is very easy to knit with. Its very soft and lovely to use.

Is this any good for knitting a little chunky cardigan for my granddaughter

It isn’t very thick - I used mine for tinsel - and maybe a bit “scratchy”.

Would this be suitable to knit a shawl for a bride

Yes, it knits/crochets very well and is soft to the touch, not at all itchy or scratchy, apart from the orange which feels a bit “plastic” . I’ve used it a lot, mostly smaller items though. It can be difficult to pull back (frog) if you make a mistake , but mistakes don’t show through the furry texture. The surface of the finished article can be smoothed to lie flat or given a gentle shake will fluff up. Hope this is helpful.
