I've always been annoyed by the fact that all vents, hoses, ducts and connectors have the exact same diameter. This is a problem. If you have a hose that is 6" diameter and you want to attach it to a duct or connector that is 6" then one won't slide over the other, they just butt up against each other. Super annoying.

Just exactly what i need to connect kitchen exhaust pipe through drywall. Plastic material do not recommend for high temp exhausts. Pricewise it's not worth $16

Doesn't Fit 6" A/C Tubing
I bought this to try and connect my portable AC hose to the outside of my house. I tried for at least 20 minutes to get it to fit into the flange and it would not fit. The tubing I purchased to connect to this says 5.9" tubing and this is a 6" size and it does not fit. I even had a contractor come over to try and see if I was missing something and they confirmed that it was too small. There is one other review that I saw confirming this but I dismissed it as user error when I bought it. It is not user error. Do not buy this if you plan on connecting a portable AC hose
