Is normal for these pills to have a bad smell, similar to old eggs?

Hi - methionine is known to have a sulphurous odour (also associated with rotten eggs) and this is probably what you get. In fact most of the amino-acids in Lipotropic Factors are found in eggs so one more reason to explain the specific smell. I have been buying this supplement from Solgar for a long time and the smell and quality was consistent.
