Is this suitable for g shock awg-m100

No, I do have an AWG-M100 model watch but this battery was bought for another Casio I have. The AWG-M100 battery is a re-chargeable one I believe

Hi, is this battery (ctl1616f) the rechargeable version?

Yes. This is the battery used in many Casio solar powered watches. Although they look similar to other disk batteries the internal chemistry is very different. These batteries are designed to supply low power demands but can be recharged by a small solar cell for a minimum of ten years. They can last much longer in regular use, i.e. kept charged. If used to replace a Casio watch battery, it will may take a few hours or days of exposure to full sunlight to bring the battery up to a full charge on the watch indicator, if fitted. This is perfectly normal and not a sign of a faulty battery. Once fully charged the battery will run a solar powered watch for around 9 months, or up to 2 years in power saving mode without further exposure to light. Of course, the battery can be recharged even if it does run flat. These batteries have a very exotic chemistry which is reflected in the price. As far as I am aware, Panasonic are the only manufacturers, so there is no other alternative supplier. The last watch battery I replaced lasted 14 years before it started running out of power during the long winter months. On that basis the batteries are reasonable value for money.
