Guitar Humidifier Packs - Two-Way Humidification System Conditioning Packets - For Maintaining Proper Guitar Humidification Level - 3 Maintain Replacement Packets

I bought a pack of these just under a year ago, and one of the humidipaks is only starting to solidify now - so I find that super impressive! This is well over the three months' time frame stated in the write-up, so I'm surprised by some of the comments that these packs haven't lasted. I suppose it depends on where you live, the humidity/dryness levels, the type of guitar and case, and so on. I have a Taylor acoustic guitar and Taylor hard case. The system is simple and avoids the hazard of having to put water inside the case - which I really think is asking for trouble. Just put one under the stockhead and the other over the strings, close the case and it works its magic. I initially bought mine because my wife and I use a wood-burning fireplace in our home during winter months and it dries the air out like crazy. I don't know what your results will be but I highly recommend this product based on my experience. I've just ordered refills, hence my write up now. I also think this is especially useful for any beginners/improvers who won't know how to maintain their guitar using other methods.

I really like this system and it's simple to use, no having to do water, sponges and avoid the hazards of water and wood meeting. This is nice, just put it in the case and put the other over the D and G strings, close the case and it'll work it's magic. However after a few weeks less than a month the single pack in the case started to solidify and tried to mix it up to get it too work. They last around 2 months, not the 3 months advertised, and they're costly to replace so it's a bit hard to like it in one way, so of the costs replacement sachets it loses a star. I would recommend it fully though!

A must-have especially for storing and protecting acoustic guitars. I have been using D'addario humidipaks for decades. Don't buy any alternative - these are the best!!

Pros: - A leave and forget humidification system - Fits almost all guitars and guitar cases Cons: - These work better in a dry environment (to soak up excessive moisture) than an already high humidity environment. - I have purchased these Humidipaks for over a decade. I noticed the design of the packs had slightly changed and the pouches you put them inside had changed considerably. Doing some research online showed that there is a potential for these packs to leak, so they changed the design of the pouches to be waterproof. I still have the non-waterproof pouches and planet waves customer service told me to dispose of them due to the lack of protection they offer. If a company is asking me to dispose of their product due to it not being fit for purpose, I'd expect a replacement free of charge. - The packs are said to not be reusable, but a quick search online shows that they can be. With the weather in the UK being what it is. It’s hard to get a consistent humidity in my flat. It hovers around 45-60%. So this kit is perfect for my acoustic guitar which I leave in my Hiscox hard case. It allows my guitar case to be humidity regulated much better than my flat and gives me peace of mind that my guitar is nice and safe.

I am actually worried these might be adding humidity when they are supposed to remove and control it. Before I started using them the case would remain at around 65% It says in the description that they will keep the humidity within the safe rate of 45-55% (they don't, it has only risen since I started to use them) I also only remove the guitar from its case when the humidity in the room is 60-65% I don't really understand how something can both add and take away moisture knowingly at any decent level in the firstplace. If anyone has some advice for me that would be great, all the information I find online​ is about adding more moisture, not taking it away.

Worked great on my J45 when moving around the Middle East with work. Much better and less messy than the water based products that you have to manually refill.

Na 3 weken het ontvochtigingssysteem in de case en gitaar aangebracht te hebben, is de vochtigheid in de case met slechts met 1% gezakt. Zelfs nadat de binnenkant van de case eerst met een haardroger werd behandeld. Dan nog de vraag of deze minieme daling niet gewoon van de centrale verwarming is die nu in de herfst meer aanstaat !? In dat geval doet het zelfs niets.
