I use these a lot for my studies. They are very easy to stick onto textbooks (or anything you are using) and being able to make notes exactly where your info is makes things more convenient - they are transparent enough to easily read the writing or whatever is below them. The only thing to be mindful about is that normal biros don't write on them so I use thin markers instead.

i love these so much! i got them so i can annotate books to help me write my essays without damaging the book itself and can be removed once the essay is done, i wouldn’t recommend using highlighters because they take ages to dry on it and still smudge and transfer but i found using a good quality yellow coloured pencil scribbled over the top works just as good as a highlighter and didn’t transfer or smudge!

Great buy, lots of different sizes, they stick well and most pens will write on them fine.

Despite being quite glossy, using a permanent marker means that the ink won’t smudge and the stick is strong and perfect for a note book. And a good variety of sizes for various uses!

This was the issue I was most worried about - I wanted some sheer sticky notes to annotate my books so I don't have to write directly on the pages. These are sheer and have good adhesion, the ink just rubs right off of them. Maybe they'll work better with pencil or ballpoint pen rather and the usual gel pens I use however I wouldn't feel good closing any of my books over these as the ink would just transfer over to the next page. Maybe if I left the ink to dry for a long time before hand it'd be fine but that's quite inconvenient.
