ARKON TAB086-12 Heavy Duty Tablet Clamp Mount with 12 inch Neck for iPad Pro iPad Air Galaxy Note 10.1 Retail Black

I've bought two of these now. One to mount an iPad Pro semi-permamently on a Concept 2 rowing machine - a task to which it is perfectly suited. I think Concept 2 could almost sell these as official accessories. The second one provides an iPad mount on my office desk. Other mounts I've tried were flimsy and would lose tightness and just collapse under the weight of the iPad after a while. This one doesn't budge. At all. It's rock solid. For my purposes it's perfect, I couldn't be more satisfied with it. One word of caution though; it is extremely hard to reposition and bend the arm. This is a good thing for my uses, but for someone with mobility issues or without sufficient strength, it could be difficult to use and reposition. Remember you can always return things with Amazon - so if in doubt you can give it a try and send it back if it's too hard to maneuver. For the two stands I'm using, I wanted them specifically to be positioned once and then never move again, and they're perfect for that. Update: 18 months later; both of my stands are still as good as new and performing their function perfectly. Good quality item.

This is a monster of a clamp and tablet holder. Unlike many others this won't move when installed. The clamp itself can be adjusted to clamp onto smaller bars if needed. It is more expensive than most of the others but it is worth it if you are looking for a quality clamp and tablet holder. It is important to note... The spring is extremely strong which means it is difficult to adjust into place without a fair effort. This is to be expected for such a strong spring and quality clamp, it means you won't have to adjust it over and over once in place. This is not the clamp you want if you want to move the position of the spring regularly. If you want a tablet holder that won't move then this is the one for you. It was worth the premium price.

Excellent build quality, but note, flex neck is very tough to flex - its a metal tube rather than a spring, so perfect if you leave it as is once in position, but no good for frequent adjusting! I have it mounted to a rower and it will stay there so it suits me, but I was surprised at how tough the flex is to bend. Def does not wobble or shake once mounted!

Top quality heavy duty clamp for use with a phone or tablet. I bought mine so I could attach a stand on my recumbent exercise bike for my IPAD 2. The IPAD 2 is heavy and this stand is sturdy enough to hold it in place. The neck bends but it is very firm so be careful when adjusting it. So far I'm very impressed and will purchase another one. Won't clamp on to my Celestron telescope handle properly. The flat rubber pad slips out too easily when I try to adjust the angle. It is better suited to tables or benches which have flat surfaces. Otherwise very robust at a reasonable price. Very good delivery.

Very happy with this purchase. Not clear from the description but the bottom mount has two different fixing positions meaning it can be adjusted to work on eg desktop or mic stand (different dimensions). Good quality and does the job. Only thing I would suggest could be improved is to find a way for the rubber shoe that is one part of the grip not to slide off when unfastening the holder from a desk (ie so you don’t lose it). Overall, it has been designed well and the mount will last.

Absolutely the best tablet mount I have tried, and I've tried several trying to find something which would support my flat-folding laptop which could attach to a (music) keyboard stand. It can handle both the weight of the laptop - twice or more that of a tablet, and the size. It's a 13.5" HP Pavilion. It's in exactly the right place, i.e. directly in front of me in my field of vision, and much, much lighter than the other solutions I tried. And thanks to the Amazon owners who answered my questions about the item too. I'm over the moon with this superbly heavy-duty, light weight piece of kit!

Ich halte mit diesem Ständer ein externes 15“-Display an einem alten Holz-Sekretär. Das Teil ist so stabil, dass ich den gesamten Sekretär damit hochheben kann! Allerdings erfordert das justieren des Arms auch einiges an Kraft.

This tablet holder is SOLID! I use it in a band - it hasn't let me down in a few years usage. The gooseneck is firm and takes a little effort to adjust but, that's what you want if you don't want it to move! I've been through a heap of tablet holders and rate this the best...

It is very heavy and the goose neck is very hard to move, so it is not very portable but it holds ipad 12' perfectly
