If anyone knows, how’s the bass sound compared to Anker or Oontz mini speakers?

I also purchased the Oontz Angle 3 Ultra SUP at the same time I bought the Tribit. Straight out of the box, I found the Tribit to have a far superior sound and bass level. After downloading the app that provides added adjustment to the Oontz, including EQ and bass/treble adjustment, the Tribit still outperforms the Oontz to my ear.

Can you charge the Tribet X while listening or will this kill batter?

You can charge while listening. HOWEVER, the charging port on this model will break on you. My first one failed within the warranty period, and tribit replaced with no problem. But after two have failed in under two years, I am not getting a third. The charging port is, literally, the weak link in this model. Too bad, because everything else about it is great.

will a long press of the volume buttons play next/previous song?
