I purchased the JBL Boombox 3 (Renewed) and have been using it for about 4 months now—flawless performance so far. Despite being a renewed product, it arrived in excellent condition and has worked perfectly from day one.The sound quality is bold, clear, and powerful, with deep bass that easily fills outdoor spaces. It’s been especially great for use at my 7-year-old son’s Little League games—plenty of volume and presence without distortion.The battery life holds up well, and the rugged design makes it ideal for outdoor and on-the-go use.If you’re looking for a high-performance portable speaker at a more accessible price point, this renewed model is a smart buy. I’m very satisfied and would gladly recommend it.

I bought this boombox to use in camp and it was INCREDIBLE! First of all the sound quality is amazing, I tried out some songs with strong bass some songs with complicated electric guitar sounds and it came out insanely good, like I could actually hear every detail of the instrument. Then the sound was also really loud especially when played indoors, it would fill every corner of the room with aound, and even outside you could hear it a long way off. And this is all in a speaker which is very easy to carry (also, i bought a strap to wear it separately, i would suggest that) and walk around with since it's relatively small compared to some of those huge speakers, and it has a nice handle to hold it with. I also hear that it was waterproof so I chucked it in the lake and it continued playing while deep under water, so I stuck my head under and was able to hear it under the water, but at one point it shut off due to a safety feature, and once I pulled it out of the water it continued playing. It also floats in the water, so you can let it chill in the water while playing music. It also has a pretty long battery life, it lasted me like 5 to 6 hours daily on full blast. It also has a usb charging port so you can charge your phone.It is a little bulky and heavy compared to the small jbl speakers, but compared to the average speaker that has such sound capabilities, it is very easy to walk around with.I would suggest anyone to buy this speaker if you are looking for a powerful and easily movable speaker!!!

With the refurbished version I was hoping to not have to return it because of missing or broken parts, but mine came in brand new condition while spending more than $150 less than a brand new one. It is a bit uncomfortable to carry and lug around because of it's massive size, but the deep bass and great sound quality make up for it and is a part of my everyday life. I have no experience with it around water so I have no clue if it is truly waterproof or not. It is easy to charge and has a long power life in quiet environments and also has easy to understand directions and the Bluetooth quickly connects to my phone. Overall, worth the massive purchase and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a speaker.

Holy moly!!! I have owned many bluetooth speakers. I mean MANY. I spent about a solid month watching EVERY video review of EVERY bluetooth speaker made to date. (3/2/24) I read every Google review I could possibly find. I had to find the absolute best bluetooth speaker under $600. That was my budget. I own very expensive headphones and listened to so many speakers on video reviews that used binaural microphones. I heard the new Harman kardon Go Play 3, the Bang and olufsen beolit 20, the Harman kardon Aurora 3, that weird swedish box one lol, all of the smart home speakers, the jbl authentics 300, absolutely EVERY boombox from all manufacturers, and I finally came to the conclusion that the one that fit my needs perfectly (sound quality, bass, battery life, build quality and price) was the Jbl boombox 3. I went back and forth about the wifi version and the just bluetooth one and decided that although wifi gives better sound quality, I needed the auxiliary 3.5mm input. That is because I own the firefly ldac bluetooth adapter and my phone does ldac so I would get the best bluetooth quality possible, and I own a decent dongle dac and wanted to be able to connect my phone with an otg cable to dac to 3.5mm cable to the auxiliary input and stream my Qobuz through USB Audio Player Pro. Well let me say, with the ldac adapter, this speaker BLOWS my mind in every way shape and form. And with the dac to aux through Qobuz, HOLY LORD IN THE HEAVENS ABOVE. 24 bit 96khz through this speaker has me never wanting to shut it off. Ever. I leave it plugged in most of the time to get the extra power but full blast is waaayyyy too much for my room. Even though at full volume there is zero distortion and insane sound quality. At normal listening levels it is such a pleasure. Beautiful sub bass, mid bass, mids and highs. So with all that said, please do yourself a favor and buy this speaker if it's in your budget. You will not regret it. I can assure you. Oh and no YouTube video does it any justice. You have to listen in person with Quality music through ldac bluetooth with an adapter, or wired with a dongle dac (Dragonfly cobalt) to the aux in with Qobuz or tidal or Amazon HD. Great sounds, works well, but battery doesn't last 24 hours as described. More around 7-8 hours.
