This is superb at chopping small items

Ok let me start by saying I am not a stupid person. But the instructions didn’t say anything about plastic guards on the blades, and it had been a long, long day! So don’t be like me. Take off the plastic guards and try again. Having said that, I have rheumatoid arthritis and I need something light, easy to use, easy to empty, doesn’t require much hand strength, easy to wash. I can no longer use pull choppers but the leverage on the turning thing, makes it easier to use this. I have electric ones, but the motor can be quite heavy to put on, take off, put back on etc. So I decided to try this. It is light, and easy to wash, and relatively easy to empty the food into the bowl. It does require some firm holding to keep the chopper from hopping away from you. The handle helps, but at times, I just had to hold the chopper against my body and sort of hug it. This is only relevant if you have issues with your hands and wrists. The initial rounds do take some hand strength. But if you go clock-wise and then anti-clockwise for a couple of rounds, it’s a lot easier. If you are looking for very evenly sliced veggies, this may disappoint. But I’m using this for prep for soups or for salads where they don’t have to be exactly the same size, so it works well for me. It can’t do sweet potatoes, so winter squashes might be a problem. But other than that, the blades are sharp enough to cut through your regular fruit and veg. I’m definitely keeping this little guy.

I received an open boxed (warn old taped box) originally, but the company sent me a new one right away. I sent the first one back. This has turned out to be a great tool, at first I only did leafy things ( which is kind of a pain because this is smaller than I'd want), but this last salad I did my spinach (well dried), onion, celery, and red cabbage in it...added 2 types of beans, corn, and pecans. Usually takes me 1.5-2.0 hours. I finished in half of an hour. Making sure my veggies were dry helped a lot. Dangerously sharp-even when you are super conscious and careful, so be careful. A the handle is a bit flimsy, and again smaller than I thought, and it's all plastic (I thought m8ne was going to be stainless steel), but it does chop things well.👍👏👏

Works great for chopping onions, tomatoes and vegetables. Easy to clean.

very sharp blade

I hate how eating a salad involves repeatedly stabbing at it to collect a mouthful onto the fork. So I buy a salad, then I dump it into this device and crank it ten times. Instant chop salad. Much easier to eat. Much more uniform texture and flavor. As a result, I'm eating more salads. There are a couple of things that are not great about this chopper: It's not what I'd call sturdy, for one. It's made out of all plastic and I'm sure the arm will snap sooner than later. Also, when I wash the lid, liquid gets inside and the lid can't be opened, so there's no way to completely eliminate the water inside. I'm concerned that it will mold over time and pose a hazard.

I love this! My brother came to visit and actually brought his with him because he uses it so much. I loved it so much I immediately bought one. It chops through all my vegetables into beautiful small bites. So easy to use and clean. I accidentally ordered the small size, which is fine, but now I want the bigger one as well. So much easier than using my food processor.

Es de plástico y aunque está bien diseñado si lo manejas con cuidado puede durar mucho y bien. Las navajas están muy bien afiladas y todas sus partes ensamblan muy bien. Lo más rudo que he picado en el es col cruda y la deja bien picadita y sin complicaciones. Buen producto.
